Religious Right Lying To Christians By Claiming That Pro – Life Progress Has Been made

Posted by soldierservant on June 26, 2007

You see, I knew this would happen. These hypocrites are so predictable. They act as though this bogus legislation is actually saving the lives of he unborn. Those that believe this nonsense are given over to a reprobate mind. Nothing could be more wicked than defending the slaughter of the unborn and pretend that it is not happening. See below:Dear Christian,

On Wednesday, Faith and Action and our pro-life outreach, the National Pro-Life Action Center, as well as all of the pro-life movement scored a resounding victory when President Bush vetoed legislation that would have allowed your tax dollars to be used for experimentation on human embryos.

For almost 2 years, Faith and Action has led the fight against sacrificing human embryos for scientific research.

We repeatedly reached out to elected officials, conducting three symposia on Capitol Hill for congressional and White House staff to help dispel the myths surrounding embryonic stem cell research.

While we did not lobby for or against any particular piece of legislation, we worked diligently to inform the consciences of members of Congress as well as to defend the sanctity of all human life. While some chose to ignore our message, others certainly listened.

As a result of our labors, my twin brother Paul, who heads up our National Pro-Life Action Center project, received a personal invitation to attend the veto signing. I was happy to hear Paul’s report to me that President Bush repeated our very words upholding the sanctity of human life. In fact, after the ceremony the president personally thanked Paul for our efforts on Capitol Hill to defend life.

To see a news report of the Presidential Veto Signing, please click here for part 1 and click here for part 2.

Friends, I know whatever we accomplish is directly the result of your prayers and generous support for our work at Faith and Action. Therefore, I have a message for you:

Your voice has been heard in Washington!

Unfortunately, the fight is not over. We still desperately need your help.

Those who support the destruction of human life have sworn to continue to fight to use your tax dollars to fund embryonic stem cell research. We need to reach more members of Congress and challenge them to protect life.

We must answer the Divine call to stand up for the weakest members of our society. At this very moment, we are preparing for an urgent panel discussion on Capitol Hill, where we will bring in experts to reveal the ethical problems of embryonic stem cell research.

But we need your help. Our costs for this pivotal presentation will be at least $3,500. Without your assistance, we simply can’t afford to do this outreach. If all of our partners, however, will give just $25.00, we will have sufficient revenue to continue our fight for life.

Only $25.00 can help us carry on the fight to remind our public policy makers of the dignity of human life. Your gift can help us all accomplish our goal of protecting the most vulnerable members of our society—the pre-born.

Please prayerfully consider supporting us in our missionary work to spread the Gospel of Life here on Capitol Hill by making a contribution right now.

To make a contribution to Faith and Action and our National Pro-Life Action Center, please click here. Thank you for your gift. Thank you for making a difference.

Yours for LIFE,

Rev. Rob Schenck Rev. Schenck’s Blog

PS: Please help us protect the sanctity of ALL human life by making a $25.00 contribution to Faith and Action. To do so please click here. Thank you again.

The Emerging Church

Posted by soldierservant on June 26, 2007

This is very reassuring all true Christians. If there be a revival, a mighty move of God, it will come from without, not within the corrupted institutional church (all institutions have
been corrupted). The real true church is us who are about the Father’s business and not promoting lies of the enemy like the false church.

gregaustin.org/barnarev.htm

A Note from Greg: I never enjoy saying or hearing “I told you so . . .” but in this case, dear reader, I must say that for the last seven years, “I told you so . . .” Because we (emerging church people) are in the minority, we have largely been minimalized or dismissed entirely,  ignored, disbelieved and discounted. Mr. Barna’s research is shedding wonderful light on realities that the Church must recognize if it is to fulfill the mandate Jesus gave us:
REVOLUTION – An Extract.
From George Barna’s pre-manuscript of a forthcoming book.

As we journey together, I want to show you what our research has uncovered regarding a growing sub-nation of people, already well over 20 million strong, who are what we call Revolutionaries. What “established systems” are they seeking to “overthrow or repudiate” and “thoroughly replace,” in Webster’s words? They have no use for churches that play religious games, whether those games are worship services that drone on without the presence of God or ministry programs that bear no spiritual fruit.Revolutionaries eschew ministries that compromise or soft sell our sinful nature to expand organizational turf. They refuse to follow people in ministry in leadership positions who cast a personal vision rather than God’s, or who seek popularity rather than the proclamation of truth in their public statements, or who are more concerned about their own legacy than that of Jesus Christ. They refuse to donate one more dollar to man-made monuments that mark their own achievements and guarantee their place in history. They are unimpressed by accredited degrees and endowed chairs in Christian colleges and seminaries that produce young people incapable of defending the Bible or unwilling to devote their life to serving others.
And Revolutionaries are embarrassed by language that promises Christian love and holiness but turns out to be all sizzle and no substance.

In fact, many Revolutionaries have been active in good churches that have biblical preaching, people coming to Christ and being baptized, a full roster of interesting classes and programs, and a congregation packed with nice people. There is nothing overtly wrong with anything taking place at such churches. But Revolutionaries innately realize that it is just not enough to go with the flow. The experience provided through their church, although better than average, still seems flat. They are seeking a faith experience that is more robust and awe-inspiring, a spiritual journey that prioritizes transformation at every turn,
something worthy of the Creator whom their faith reflects…

Revolutionaries zealously pursue an intimate relationship with God, which Jesus Christ promised we could have through Him…

In this book I will describe what The Barna Group has learned about this under-the-radar but seminal renaissance of faith that will remake the religious contours of this country over the coming quarter-century.

[Barna goes on to predict the complete re-shaping of the way people experience “church” in America]:

Whereas “Christian community” has generally been limited to the relationships facilitated within a congregation, the Revolution is bursting open the walls of the worldwide Church to birth a truly
international network of relationships…

The U.S. will see a reduction in the number of churches, as presently configured (i.e. congregational-formatted ministries).

Church service attendance will drop… Donations to churches will drop… Churches’ already limited political and cultural influence will diminish even further at the same time that Christians will exert greater influence through more disparate mechanisms.

Fewer church programs will be sustained in favor of more communal experiences among Christians…

To some, this will sound like the Great Fall of the Church. To Revolutionaries, it will be the Great Reawakening of the Church.

New scenarios do not mean mayhem and dissipation. In this case, they represent a new day in which the Church can truly be the Church–different than what we know today, but more responsive to and reflective of God.

* The number of Christians attending local church in the USA is declining rapidly. Today, 70% of Christians attend traditional churches, but this will sink to 30-35% in 20 years;

* The number of followers of Jesus who do not attend a local church will grow from 30% to 70% in the next 20 years;

* Alternative fellowship forms (house church/simple church, post-modern churches etc.), currently home for 5% of USA Christians, will grow to make up 30-35%; another 30-35% will live out their faith in the fields of media, arts and culture; the remaining 5% of Christians attending non-traditional forms of church will have a family-based spiritual life;

* Conclusion: a minority group presently not even noticed by many will become the mainstream of North American Christianity in only two decades.

“This is a revolution, and will change not only the recruiting strategies of seminaries and Bible schools, but also radically question church building projects,” says Barna. If only half as many people will be visiting traditional congregational services in 20 years, a smaller building will suffice.Source: George Barna “Revolution” www.barna.org

David Barton Deceives Christians On TBN

Posted by soldierservant on June 21, 2007

He has a show on TBN called THE AMERICAN HERITAGE SERIES. He is one of
these typical promoters of our country’s roots as being strictly all
christian. I think he is just another heretic. It is the likes of him that
my family gets caught up in all this americanism idolatry. He doesn’t
seem to acknowledge any evil of the past. This proves he is a liar. Of
course you know the locksteppers will say that is leftist propaganda. No
it isn’t.Their angle is a lie of a different nature.Their propaganda
portrays the founders as homosexuals, drunks,or child molesters.Or just
saying that they were secularists, which is a total lie. There is no
doubt they were religious, but what kind of religious.Ones like David
Barton says our founders were all christians because they used God in
many references. These idiots are not even paying attention to how God is
being used.Like references to nature’s God.That is not refering to our
christian God.There is no doubt that the enemy has suceeded in dumbing
down this nation.Any crackpot that distorts the past can get away with
it when most people know nothing of our history and is why these liars
go unchallenged.I had just written him about this nation’s occultic past
and so it will be interesting if he has any response because I pretty
much put him on the spot.He may very well be one of the religious cults
trying to spread these lies about the past. You can see what this is
doing, can’t you? This propaganda gets all these lukewarm christians in
there comfort zone and in a false sense of security, making them think
that we are such a blessed nation when it is the opposite. If nobody is
alarmed about the past or the present then this keeps the church
asleep. The church will never repent with the likes of this because they
think they are alright. All this talk about what a blessed nation we are
gives the false message that we can do no wrong and no need to
repent. This is such arrogance. I repent all the time because I am only
human and want to make sure I am in right standing with God,working it
out through fear and trembling. Anyone that is smug and complacent in
their relationship with God is proof that they are not right with God. It
is also said that if the enemy isn’t tempting you it is because he
already has you,or that you pose no threat to him. Either way such is a
spiriually ineffective person. If you want to write him yourself you can
just look up his name on a search or just go to wallbuilders.com.

More “Christian” Fearmongering Over Hillary Clinton

Posted by soldierservant on June 21, 2007

Oh no,whatever will we do without a republican hypocrite in office? This ought to wake people up to the fact that neither political party is the answer. But the spirit of fear has not been given to true Christians! We will not fall for this nonsense! From (ironically named) “Faith In Action”:

 Dear Subscriber,

The question I’m asked most these days is, So, what’ya think’s gonna happen in ’08?

There’s more than one answer to that question. But I’m afraid all things being equal, the answer may not make you very happy. My analysis tells me if the election were held today we will have President Hillary and President Bill Clinton in the White House come January ’09—and it will last eight years.

This outcome will have enormous consequences for our nation!

If you care about the outcome of the ’08 presidential elections, point your browser to Faith and Action Live! THIS WEDNESDAY, June 20, 12:00 P.M. EST.

We’ll talk about your values—your concerns—your prayers—and your role in determining who shapes the world for your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren—the Lord willing and tarrying His return.

This week I’ll also talk about a breakthrough at the U.S. Post Office. They responded to our proposal for a Ten Commandments Postage Stamp—and you’ll be surprised with what they said!

See you this Wednesday, June 20, 12:00 P.M., for Faith and Action Live!, my live missionary field report from our ministry center across the street from the U.S. Supreme Court!

Your missionary to elected and appointed officials,

Rev. Rob Schenck
