Fred Thompson Surge Means Conservatives Are Desperate

Chuck is saying what I had said about Thompson.He is a bad apple.The republicans are going down the toilet because of how out of touch they are with reality and common sense people.There may be a few maniacal bushbots but I bet their numbers are dwindling down.When there is no sign of victory in this war and will cost an endless budget besides the fact of open borders,who in their right mind would support this war?This war has caused our enemies to grow in number as well as in boldness.This war is going totally the opposite of what Bush says.You don’t expect the truth from a liar.What fool would trust Bush in this war after he has continally betrayed this country with his shamnesty bill, mexican truck bill which was banned but he plans to veto it,and continues to plan this
north american union?The only thing Bush has proved is that he does not have this country’s best interest at heart but only his own selfish selfserving agenda.He broke his oath of office to protect innocents when he has allowed abortion to go on as well as the open borders that has allowed heinous criminals to terrorize our citizens.Bush is a criminal
by nature and so are those who follow in his agenda.

Many conservatives (including Christian conservatives) seem to be
jumping on the Fred Thompson bandwagon. As far as Republican
presidential contenders go, the biggest loser of the Thompson surge is
Mitt Romney. Many conservatives were supporting Romney only because
they perceived him as being the best chance to beat Rudy Giuliani. A
Hillary Clinton vs. Rudy Giuliani presidential election is a
conservative’s worst nightmare. Romney has the charm and money and is
now saying the “right” things. Hence, he has enjoyed moderate support
in the early goings of this campaign season. However, Romney’s liberal
track record is very disconcerting to conservatives. In their hearts,
conservatives cannot trust Romney.

The entrance of Fred Thompson in the presidential race immediately
took a toll on the Romney campaign. Romney’s support is dropping like
the temperature in northern Idaho in the wintertime. That trend will
probably continue, as more conservatives catch the Thompson wave.

The problem is, Thompson is not a conservative. Worse still (for the
GOP), Thompson cannot beat Hillary in a general election. Mark my
words, if Fred Thompson is the Republican nominee next November,
Hillary Clinton is your next president.

For that matter, I see only one Republican contender who might be able
to beat Hillary in the 2008 general election: Ron Paul. Yes, you read
it right. Ron Paul.

If Giuliani is the Republican nominee, conservative Christians will
stay home or vote third party. (It is past time for conservative
Christians to abandon the GOP, anyway. I encourage readers to check

A Republican cannot win the White House without widespread support
from evangelical Christians. And Giuliani will never have widespread
support from evangelical Christians.

Newt Gingrich is toying with the idea of entering the race, but the
truth is out about Newt. His infidelities, his membership in the
Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), and his past betrayal of
conservative principles precede him. Newt is damaged goods. He has
little chance of obtaining the Republican nomination, and even if he
did, he has no chance of beating Hillary. None. Zero. Zilch.

The only Republican with the potential to pull an upset victory over
Clinton is Ron Paul. He is extremely popular among constitutionalists,
independents, and many Christians (including me). He is doing very
well in fundraising and on the Internet. And if Paul’s message was
given a fair hearing, evangelical Christians and traditional
conservatives would come to support him.

The only reason that some conservative Christians do not already
support Ron Paul is because they, themselves, do not understand
constitutional government. Years of Republican chicanery and
compromise have taken a toll on conservatives to the point that many
of them don’t understand truth when they see it. However, this could
change. The more people learn about Ron Paul and constitutional
government, the more they like him and it.

On the other hand, the more people learn about Fred Thompson, the more
they will dislike him. As with Gingrich, Thompson is a member of the
sinister cabal, the CFR, whose principle purpose for existence seems
to be the construction of one-world government and the destruction of
U.S. independence and sovereignty. This means Thompson will do nothing
to stop illegal immigration. (See

He will do nothing to stand in the way of the emerging North American
Union, and the NAFTA Superhighway, and he will continue the push for
globalization.

In addition, Fred Thompson is the personification of a Washington
insider-lobbyist. Thompson was a lobbyist for twenty years before
being elected to the U.S. Senate. He represented organizations like
the Tennessee Savings and Loan Association and deposed Haitian
President Aristide. He continued lobbying after he left the Senate,
including representing a British insurance company that wants to limit
payments to the families of those who died from asbestos exposure. In
fact, Thompson’s presidential campaign is literally overflowing with
advisors and donors who are lobbyists, former lobbyists or employees
of lobbying firms. (See

If Thompson was elected President, he would be the country’s first
Lobbyist-in-Chief.

On the life issue, Fred Thompson’s record is clearly pro-choice. In
1991 and 1992, Thompson was a paid lobbyist for the pro-abortion
organization, National Family Planning and Reproductive Health
Association. He also lobbied against the Republican Party’s pro-life
plank. According to Terry Jeffrey, “[W]hen Fred Thompson was in the
United States Senate, both times he ran for the Senate he ran as a
pro-choice candidate.”

One of the Religious Right’s most respected leaders, Richard Viguerie,
recently said this about Fred Thompson: “Fred Thompson’s record may
appear to be ‘conservative,’ but only by comparison with Rudy
Giuliani, John McCain, or Mitt Romney, and a Less-of-a-Big Government
Republican is still a Big Government Republican. And given his lack of
conservative leadership as a Senator, it would be a grave mistake to
expect conservative leadership from him as President.”

However, there is another glaring (and I mean glaring) reason why any
Republican presidential contender outside Ron Paul will not defeat
Hillary next November: every other Republican presidential contender
supports the Iraq war. That means every one of them (except Ron Paul)
is completely out of touch with over two-thirds of the American
electorate. And the longer our troops keep dying in Iraq, the more out
of touch the GOP will become with a vast majority of the American
people.

President Bush has already made it clear that he intends for American
troops to remain in Iraq for years–if not decades–to come. And it
also seems clear that the GOP presidential candidates (except Ron
Paul) plan to follow Bush’s madness.

Republicans need to wake up to reality: people are sick of George
Bush, and they are sick of the Iraq war. Good grief! In less time than
our troops have been in Iraq, our men and women in uniform defeated
the combined forces of Germany, Japan, and Italy during World War II.
In Iraq, we have not been able to secure the city of Baghdad.

When America’s top military commander in Iraq, General David Petraeus,
was asked if all the efforts in Iraq–including the latest surge–make
America safer, his answer was an astounding, “I don’t know.” That is
an incredible statement. After more than four years of combat in a
country approximately the size of Texas, more than one-half trillion
dollars in cost, and the sacrifice of thousands of American lives, our
top military commander cannot honestly say that America is any safer.
Yet, Bush says we are “winning,” and he wants our troops to stay in
Iraq indefinitely.

I dare say that by the time November 2008 rolls around, support for
the Iraq war could be so low that the Republican Party may be lucky to
even be competitive in the national elections, no matter who their
candidate is (unless it is Ron Paul). This is because every single one
of the other GOP presidential contenders (including Fred Thompson) is
on record as supporting a continuing U.S. occupation of Iraq. In
addition, most of them are on record as supporting an expansion of the
war into other parts of the Middle East. (Interestingly enough,
however, none of them wants to discuss–much less threaten–the real
sponsors of terrorism: Russia and China.)

That Fred Thompson is surging to the position of Republican
presidential frontrunner means that conservatives are desperate.
Unfortunately, they do not seem to be desperate enough to look at
their own erroneous policies. Neither are they willing to look at the
recipe for their own recovery: principled, constitutional government.

I already hear the fat lady warming up.

Troops struggle to cope with brain injuries

This link explains the curses of this war.Locksteppers like Hannity make
light of this stuff and almost inhumanely mocking them by comparing
statistics to past wars.These fools don’t even know everything about our
past wars,so what do they know.They are a bunch of mindless parrots that
have been given some marching orders by some propagandist think
tank.When they praise this war they are glorifying the suffering that
our troops needlessly go through.That is why all these locksteppers are
cowards because they won’t volunteer to go on the frontlines for this

The Harmful Teachings of Kenneth and Gloria Copleand: What’s Wrong with the Prosperity Gospel?

After reading up on these sites about
Copeland,which my family are deep into,has really made me think.I know
there is an awful lot of sites exposing him and thought where there is a
lot of smoke there must be a fire.It also made me think of what exactly
is being taught and comparing it with scripture.most of these teachings
are unbiblical.It is not merely because of promoting wealth which there
are scriptures to prove that,but is how they go about it.They guaranteee
wealth by some systematic formula and the bible teaches no such thing.I
understand now why Paul said such teachings were divisive and the source
of much strife because it relies on our perfection and not God’s.It is
pure judgmental hypocrisy that condemns someone because of their
financial status.From other sites I found out that Copeland is teaching
that Jesus was raped by homosexual roman soldiers,which would have
prevented his sacrifice from being pure.He has denied that AIDS came
about as consequence of immorality.This confirms a thought that has come
to my mind that the likes of Copeland do not speak out against
homosexuality.Maybe in fact the reason he is wealthy is from homosexual
contributers.That explains his stance on AIDS.This message is good and
might want to put it up on the blog,or least parts of it.I also heard
just recenly that congress shot down this mexican truck deal that Bush
forced on us.Maybe there is hope for the congress after all. Bush is not
going to get away with his crap.But it shows you the foolishness of
those who still support him after he tries to screw us left and
right.They still expect good from evil.

totally unscriptural. Jesus didn’t go around condemning the poor for not
having faith. He didn’t promise them they would get rich if if they
chanted some prosperity mantra. Everywhere I look in the scriptures, like
in the epistles it was the teachings of godliness as a mean of financial
that was the source of strife and contention. I understand those
scriptures now though I had not before. All these false teachings of
prosperity is putting faith in the arm of the flesh or in our own
goodness, which the bible says are nothing but filthy rags, instead of
putting faith in God and his righteousness.These teachings cause strife
because they condemn anyone that is poor as not having enough
faith,putting more trust in words than in God’s goodness and favor.THERE
IS ABSOLUTELY NO BIBLICAL PROOF FOR SUCH LIES!A lot of these teachings
are rooted in newage like that Robert Schuller,who I know firsthand is a
newage wackjob.All this is not to say I believe in all negative but I
take God’s word for what it says without adding to or twisting it.The
bible itself gives clear warning of those who add to it. I personally am
believing and praying for God’s blessing but don’t make it into a
cultish ritual. Never was there an example in the bible of one who got
rich from positive confession. These teachings are rooted in christian
science,which is a known cult. It is also a total lie from hell that
those who are rich are more spiritual.Even the bible says that the
wicked prosper and to not be jealous of their wealth.All these teachings
do is inspire condemnation and superficality and judgmentalism.You can’t
get any more judgmental by condemning one’s spiritual condition by their
financial condition.These are liars on the pulpit they say that if you
are not rich then you aren’t spiritual.If anything the opposite is
true.Those who are rich have sold out to the god of this world.How else
would you explain the wealth of homosexuals?It is pure blasphemy to say
that homosexuals are more spiritual than we are!These are proud

Duplantis recently and he was superficial and judgmental.He is good on
some things but is legalistic and hypocritical.A lot of these preachers
are con men.A lot are now being exposed for tax fraud and stealing from
their own church.I don’t put my trust in charlatons,only God and his
word.It is only by God’s word that we are able to judge what is right
from what is wrong.If someone doesn’t line up with the teaching of God’s

preachers never explain why homosexuals are rich.They probably never
speak out against homosexuality,which makes you have to wonder about
them.That may be how they get their wealth.The gospel of Christ is
supposed to be relevant with our culture and dealing with all these sin
issues.Just them ignoring these issues prove how false they are.I know
the blessings of God are not conditional.unlike these false teachings

that you have to have a perfect confession in order for it to work.God
will bless who He will bless no matter what.Even in the midst of a bad
economy.Jesus fed the multitudes without a confession.He only gave

The recent bathroom sex scandal involving Republican Idaho Senator
Larry Craig has become a political hornet’s nest. However, to those
who are privy to the real-life goings-on among the political elite in
Washington, D.C., this comes as no surprise.

Extracurricular sexual activity in Washington, D.C., is about as
uncommon as thunderstorms in the summertime. The element igniting the
fires of the media and the public in general, however, is that the
Craig scandal involves another Republican legislator and
homosexuality.

You see, Karl Rove and Company (along with their willingly gullible
Christian pastor accomplices) have convinced rank-and-file
conservatives, many of whom are Christians, that the GOP is the
“family values” party. Some even go so far as to call it “God’s
Party.” Obviously, Larry Craig, Mark Foley, David Vitter, et. al have
done much to tarnish this image.

As a pastor for more than three decades, I have witnessed a plethora
of sexual failures. Men and women, even Christian men and women, are
all weakened with a sinful nature. Some are more vulnerable to certain
sins than others, and with a current culture that is awash in sexual
promiscuity, temptations of the flesh have never been greater.

The pastor side of me understands the need for redemption and
forgiveness. If I was personally acquainted with Senator Craig, I
would be more than willing to minister healing to him and his family.
Of course, in Senator Craig’s case, he has admitted no wrongdoing and
asked for no help. Even God does not help a person who will not ask
for it.

That being said, it behooves me to address the underlying problem
behind the Larry Craig scandal. The real problem that this scandal
unearths is the widespread influence that homosexuality has within the
GOP. Ladies and Gentlemen, the GOP elephant is not red; it is pink.
That is a fact that rank and file conservatives within the GOP either
don’t know or don’t want to know. But it is getting harder and harder
to keep that fact a secret.

If anyone really wants to learn the facts about how homosexualists
have taken over the Republican Party, I encourage them to read Alan
Stang’s blockbuster new book entitled “Not Holier Than Thou,” which is

Alan was one of Mike Wallace’s original writers. He was a business
editor at Prentice-Hall. He is a radio talk show host, and has done
stints on the American Freedom Network and the Republic Broadcasting
Network. He is the author of several books, as well as hundreds of
feature articles in national magazines. His book, “Not Holier Than
Thou,” is an in-depth look at how homosexualists have taken over the
Republican Party in Washington, D.C. It is an eye-opener, to say the
least.

Stang notes that as far back as 1989 the Washington Times published a
monumental front-page story that began, “A homosexual prostitution
ring is under investigation by federal and District authorities and
includes among its clients key officials of the Reagan and Bush
administrations, military officers, congressional aides and US and
foreign businessmen with close social ties to Washington’s political
elite, documents obtained by The Washington Times reveal.”

Remember, that was just the first paragraph, and it appeared not in a
liberal newspaper, but in the conservative Washington Times.

Stang also points out numerous homosexual prostitutes that have had
free access to the White House under Republican administrations,
including the current one. Stang also notes that Karl Rove’s father
was a homosexual, a fact that may have contributed to his mother’s
suicide.

Obviously, everyone on the planet knows that Vice President Dick
Cheney’s daughter, Mary Cheney, is a lesbian. Is it a coincidence that
Mrs. Dick Cheney, Lynne, wrote a lesbian novel entitled “Sisters”?

Stang also reminds readers that President G.W. Bush was “a member of
Skull & Bones at Yale, which apparently involves bizarre, secret sex
rituals including coffins. He has visited the Bohemian Grove in
northern California, the site of other secret sex rituals.”

Should we be surprised, therefore, that despite campaigning as a born
again Christian, President Bush has not repealed a single
pro-homosexual Executive Order given by President Bill Clinton or that
he has appointed as many (if not more) openly gay men to high
government positions as did Bill Clinton? The list includes high
profile homosexuals such as Paul Cellucci, Michael Guest, Stephen
Herbits, Scott Evertz, Mark Dybul, Israel Hernandez, Joseph O’Neill,
Arthur James Collingsworth, and on and on. According to Stang, “He
[Bush] has given organized sodomy considerable control over the
federal government.”

Obviously, homosexuals have not been limited to the Republican White
House. As the Times stated, the GOP congressional caucus is also
shaded in pink. Remember David Dreier and Mark Foley? And please don’t
forget the cross-dressing Republican presidential frontrunner Rudy
Giuliani.

Remember, too, that it was the Republican Newt Gingrich who came to
the defense of homosexual Democratic Congressman Barney Frank when he
was discovered running a homosexual prostitution ring out of his
apartment. Of course, Newt has a lesbian sister and has often publicly
praised homosexuals in Congress for the “courage” they show by running
for office.

The list of this kind of nonsense never seems to end. Get Alan Stang’s
book, and read it for yourself. You’ll see how Mitt Romney routinely
facilitated the homosexual agenda while he was Governor of
Massachusetts and how California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger
currently does the same thing.

It is no hyperbole to say that the Larry Craig affair is merely the
tip of the iceberg–and it is a very big iceberg.

All of this is not to say that homosexualists do not hold sway over
the Democrat Party also. They do. The difference is, conservative
Christian voters have been thoroughly duped into believing that the
Republican Party in general, and President G.W. Bush in particular,
are above it all. They are not. They are in it up to their eyeballs.

Sooner or later, conservatives, Christians, constitutionalists, and
other traditionalists must wake up to the reality that both major
parties in Washington, D.C., are immersed in all kinds of corruption.
We must clean house! And I mean the House of Representatives, the U.S.
Senate and the White House. We cannot depend on the two major parties
to police themselves or to be faithful to their duties to the American
people. We must begin electing independent men and women to public
office. Men and women who have not been bought by big money interests.
Men and women who truly understand their constitutional obligations.
Men and women who adhere to basic honesty and integrity.

Obviously, we have good men and women running in almost every race.
The problem is the media (which has its own problems with integrity)
will not give such people a fair hearing. Furthermore, most people
(conservative Christians included) have bought into the antiquated
“they can’t win” mantra, which precludes them from supporting the
really good people who accept the challenge to enter a political race.
Accordingly, people victimize themselves through self-fulfilling
prophecy.

In the meantime, homosexualists will continue to dominate both major
parties and we will continue to be subjected to Larry Craig-type
scandals. One would think that, sooner or later, the American people
would have enough.
