Ron Paul: The Iraqis Are Worse Off

Posted by soldierservant on January 3, 2008

This is who the neocons call crazy? The neocons need to take a good look
in the mirror. Ron Paul makes perfect sense here. Those supporting this
war are supporting tyranny.

Another powerful article from Chuck. It is more than them not just
getting it. A lot of them are imposters or have sold out to Satan for
greed. They worship the babylonian goddess Ishtar (STATUE OF LIBERTY).
If they were really of Christ they would know His word for His sheep
hears his voice. Jesus never preached retaliation or compromise. Who do
these lying phonies from hell like Pat Robertson think they are fooling?
Anyone that believe his lies do not know Christ. Such would not put up
with his blasphemy. Chuck talked about the PAGAN LEFT but we also have a
PAGAN RIGHT. A lot of professing christians are heartless ghouls that
are not reaching out to the outcast and downtrodden. They will get what
is coming to them. They are no different than the selfish pagans. Their
greed is obvious by the megachurch leaders they follow after that put
wealth before God Himself. God’s word says that He is not mocked, that
you will reap what you sow. Those who sow to corruption and the flesh
will reap destruction. The fact that Robertson endorses Giuliani, who
perpetuates the atrocity of abortion, proves what a heartless fiend he
is. These liars do not care about righteousness or justice or else they
would not turn a blind eye to the infinite evil of Bush. They are all a
bunch of godless cowards wetting their pants over Hillary. THEY ARE
BLASPHEMERS THAT CAN’T TRUST GOD IF HILLARY SHOULD GET IN! I would be so
ashamed of being such a little spineless sniveling wimp cowering like
they do. How can such expect to enter the kingdom of God? After all His
word says that the righteous are as bold as a lion. Anyone that is
cowering over Hillary is not RIGHTEOUS! They are hellbound cowards!
Truth is not afraid of lies, so why are these hypocrites in fear? It is
an admittance of their own guilt. Both Hillary and Bush are destined for
hell. But Bush will have it worse because of his hypocrisy and has led
churches astray. Jesus was very clear that hypocrites are assigned to
outer darknesss where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. The thing
of it is that even Giulani hasn’t made as much pretense as Bush has and
yet the religious phonies still accept him. There is absolutely no
excuse for that. This is the progression of sin as it is its nature to
continually get worse, like all the neocons. Hypocrites that push Romney
say religion doesn’t matter. Well I guess it would be alright for them
if we put a satanist in. That is who they really serve anyway but of
course wouldn’t admit it. Anything but Jesus is a distraction of Satan.
There is no equal to Jesus, not even the angels of which many fell to
follow Lucifer. If God does not spare the rebellious angels in heaven
what makes the hypocrites think they will get a pass?

These are people I have known most of my life. They are my friends. I
have spoken at their gatherings and rallies, participated in their
discussions, and prayed with them. Of course, I’m talking about the
fine men and women who can be categorized as the Christian Right.

On the whole, we share the same values and principles. We are
pro-life; we stand for marriage as God defined it; we believe in the
right to keep and bear arms; we support capital punishment (albeit I
will be the first to admit that there are many inequities in the
application of capital punishment that desperately need to be
rectified); we believe children should have the right to pray in
school; we believe former Alabama Chief Justice Roy S. Moore Jr. had
every right to post the Ten Commandments in the Rotunda of the Alabama
Supreme Court building, and before that, a plaque of the Ten
Commandments in his Circuit Court building in Gadsden; and we believe
in limited government.

In 1980 and 1984, I joined my friends in the Christian Right in
helping Ronald Reagan achieve two landslide victories. In fact, as the
Executive Director for the Florida Moral Majority, I helped my friend,
the late Jerry Falwell, register more than 50,000 evangelical voters
during those years.

In 2000 and 2004, my wife and I could not in good conscience vote for
G.W. Bush, so we cast an independent ballot those two elections.
However, there is no question that, to a great extent, it was the
Christian Right’s almost universal support for George W. Bush that
gave him two terms in the White House.

Unfortunately, it has been the Christian Right’s blind support for
President Bush in particular and the Republican Party in general that
has precipitated a glaring and perhaps fatal defect: the Christian
Right cannot, or will not, honestly face the real danger confronting
these United States. The reason for this blindness is due, in part, to
political partisanship or personal aggrandizement. Regardless, the
Christian Right is currently devoid of genuine sagacity. On the whole,
they fail to understand the issues that are critical to our
nation’s–and their own–survival.

Republican candidates have learned how to “talk the language.” They
know that Christians are basically compassionate and trusting people,
and therefore prone to being gullible and easily manipulated. They
know that Christians have short memories and are desperate to be
accepted at the king’s table (largely a result of the church-growth
movement and mega-church mentality).

It is at this point that much blame should be cast at the feet of the
leaders of the so-called Religious Right. They have proven themselves
to be much more interested in enriching their “ministries” (and
themselves in the process) than they are in standing uncompromisingly
for the truth. The infatuation with power and success has made them
weak and vulnerable.

As a result, George W. Bush and Karl Rove have made mincemeat out of
the Religious Right. They have shown everyone that once you win the
support of the Christian Right with rhetoric, you can get by with just
about anything. Christians are horrible at holding Republicans
accountable.

Hence, neocon Republicans such as Mitt Romney, Fred Thompson, Mike
Huckabee, and even Rudy Giuliani are all currently receiving fractured
support from the Christian Right. However, you can mark this down: the
Christian Right (with few exceptions) will eventually coalesce around
whoever wins the Republican nomination–no matter who it is. You see,
it’s all about political partisanship. Principles are only something
we talk about during off-election years.

Sadly, this is what the Christian Right just doesn’t get: ninety
percent of the time, it doesn’t matter to a tinker’s dam whether a
Republican or Democrat wins the White House. Both parties are mostly
dominated and controlled by the same interests. Both major parties
carry water for Big Money conglomerates. Both parties are heavily
influenced by globalists and internationalists. Neither party has any
loyalty to the U.S. Constitution or the principles of liberty.

All the pro-life, pro-family, traditional-values, conservative talk is
just that: talk. Republicans use conservative rhetoric the same way
Democrats use liberal rhetoric. Neither party believes what they are
telling their constituents. They merely say what constituents want to
hear in order to get elected; after which, they set about to do what
their elitist, globalist manipulators tell them to do.

Accordingly, no matter which party wields power in Washington, D.C.,
nothing much changes. Oh, there might be a little variance here or
there, but the overall agenda of the globalists is undeterred. And the
Christian Right just doesn’t get it. They don’t see it. They have
swallowed the partisan line all the way to the gullet.

Let’s have a reality check here. The globalist-handlers running things
in Washington, D.C., for the most part, could not care less about
abortion or gay marriage, one way or the other. They will gladly give
their support to “pro-life” and “pro-family” candidates as quickly as
they will to “pro-choice” or “pro-gay marriage” candidates. As long as
the candidate will offer no resistance to their plans for global
government, they could not care less about his or her position on
social issues. And, once again, the Christian Right just doesn’t get
it.

Somewhere down the line, the Christian Right has lost track of the
importance of constitutional government. They have forgotten (or never
learned) the principles of liberty. Sadly, the Christian Right has
allowed The Bill of Rights to become an antiquated and incidental
document with no importance whatsoever to them.

Beyond that, in many respects, the Christian Right has become as
totalitarian in philosophy as many of the Pagan Left. One should
understand that the extremes of both left and right end up at the same
place: tyranny.

Take a conservative rightwinger to the extreme and one ends up with
Adolf Hitler. Take a liberal leftwinger to the extreme and one ends up
with Joseph Stalin. So, which is worse? It is hardly worth arguing
about. Tyranny is tyranny regardless of the label of the one
exercising it.

So what if the Democrats hate the Republicans and the Republicans hate
the Democrats (the Nazis hated the Bolsheviks and vice versa). If both
parties are dismantling constitutional government and stealing
personal liberties, they are equally dangerous. And that is exactly
where we are today. On the whole, Republicans are just as dangerous as
Democrats. In fact, more constitutional freedoms have been lost under
George W. Bush than any President (including Democrats) in modern
memory.

(See: http://www.chuckbaldwinlive.com:80/c2002/cbarchive_20020924.html
And remember, this report is five years old.)

Have you wondered why Mike Huckabee is suddenly getting so much
favorable attention from the mainstream media (who themselves are
controlled by this gaggle of global elite)? To find the answer as to
why a professing pro-life, conservative Christian would suddenly
become the darling of the media, look no further than the fact that
just a couple of months ago, Mr. Huckabee appeared before the
globalist-minded Council on Foreign Relations. (Read his speech here:
http://www.cfr.org/publication/14335/ ) And when he did, it became
abundantly clear that Huckabee was a man globalists could trust.

By the way, as you read Huckabee’s speech, you will find that he is
George W. Bush on steroids! This is a man who intends to meddle in the
affairs of nations around the world like you can’t believe. Talk about
entangling alliances: Huckabee intends for our State, Energy, Housing,
Education, Justice, Treasury, and Transportation departments to spend
untold billions of tax dollars on just about anything and everything,
including schools, medical facilities, roads, sewage treatment, water
filtration, electricity, and legal and banking systems in countries
all over the globe. And that is exactly the kind of man the Council on
Foreign Relations (CFR) wants in Washington.

Make no mistake about it: the CFR has dominated every administration,
Republican and Democrat, since World War II. They hold sway over most
every critical Presidential appointment. Look carefully and one will
discover that the Republican President George W. Bush has had as many
CFR members in his administration as Democrat President Bill Clinton
did in his. The last time I counted, President Bush had nearly 200
members of the CFR in his administration.

Remember that the total number of CFR members is less than 5,000.  Can
one imagine what people would think if, say, the old Christian
Coalition, which at one time numbered in the hundreds of thousands,
had nearly 200 members in any one administration? Talk about
conjectures of a conspiracy: the media would go ballistic. Yet, each
and every administration, regardless of party, continues to fill their
ranks with members of the CFR, and with those friendly with the CFR,
and no one seems to notice. Do you now understand why nothing changes
no matter which party wins the White House?

Now consider the current presidential candidates who are also members
of the CFR. These include Christopher Dodd, Bill Richardson, John
McCain, and Fred Thompson. Hillary is not a member of the CFR, but her
husband, Bill, is. Plus, she has a plethora of advisors who are CFR
members. And even though Mike Huckabee is not on this list (neither is
George W. Bush), it is obvious that he will carry water for them in
much the same way as the current President has done. Barack Obama has
spoken at least once for the CFR. John Edwards has appeared before the
CFR several times. Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney both wrote for the
CFR and have numerous advisors who are CFR members, as do Edwards and
Obama.

This also explains why independent-minded candidates such as Ron Paul
are forever cast in terms such as “fringe,” or “extremist,” or
“nutty.” The same CFR elite that controls the Washington political
establishment also controls the New York media and financial
establishments. And they hate outsiders! Of course, outsiders are
those who do not share the globalist, utopian, New World Order
machinations of the CFR.

Until the American people–and especially people within the Christian
Right–begin to awaken to what is really going on, nothing will
change. Absolutely nothing. As one person said, “The height of
absurdity is to continue to vote for the same thing and expect a
different result.”

A vote for just about every major presidential candidate from either
party is a vote for more of the same thing. Of the Presidential
candidates in serious contention, Ron Paul, and Ron Paul alone, stands
for change. Ron Paul, alone, would truly obey his oath to the
Constitution and would work to restore freedom and liberty to the
American people. Ron Paul, alone, would kick the globalist elite out
of power in Washington, D.C., and restore this country to
constitutional governance.

But, once again, the Christian Right just doesn’t get it. So, they
will continue to support establishment, CFR-backed, globalist
candidates who will, in turn, continue to do the bidding of the
international elite.

One would think that Christians–more than anyone else–would
understand the devilish nature of globalism. One would think that
their study of the Sacred Text would lead them to resist any attempts
at building modern-day Towers of Babel. One would think that
Christians would love liberty enough to recognize its enemies. One
would think that they would recognize that Washington, D.C., is a far
greater threat to their freedom than either Baghdad or Tehran. But,
alas, the Christian Right just doesn’t get it.

That is the difference between the Christian Right today and the
Christians of 1776. They understood that “when a long train of abuses
and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a DESIGN
[emphasis added] to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their
right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide
new Guards for their future Security.” (Declaration of Independence)

When the Christian Right finally awakens to the “Design” behind the
“long train of abuses and usurpations,” they will then be able to
“throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future
Security.” But, alas, these people I love and am pleased to call
friends, the good people of the Christian Right: they just don’t get
it.

More Reasons To Beware Of Mike Huckabee

Many Christian conservatives see Mike Huckabee as the best candidate
to deliver the GOP from an impending pro-abortion presidential
nomination of either Rudy Giuliani or Mitt Romney. Huckabee is doing
especially well in Iowa, particularly among evangelicals. Is Mike
Huckabee worthy of this support, however? The facts say no.

I have already attempted to warn my evangelical brethren as to the
dangers of supporting Mike Huckabee. See
http://www.chuckbaldwinlive.com/c2007/cbarchive_20071102.html
However, that first column was just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
Here are more reasons to beware of Mike Huckabee.

Robert Novak recently wrote a column about Mike Huckabee entitled,
“The False Conservative.” In the column he said, “Huckabee is
campaigning as a conservative, but serious Republicans know that he is
a high-tax, protectionist, big-government advocate of a strong hand in
the Oval Office directing the lives of Americans.”

Novak also said, “There is no doubt about Huckabee’s record during a
decade in Little Rock as governor. . . He increased the Arkansas tax
burden by 47 percent, boosting the levies on gasoline and cigarettes.”

Novak continued saying, “Quin Hillyer, a former Arkansas journalist
writing in the conservative American Spectator, called Huckabee ‘a guy
with a thin skin, a nasty vindictive streak.’ Huckabee’s retort was to
attack Hillyer’s journalistic procedures, fitting a mean-spirited
image when he responds to conservative criticism.”

Calling Huckabee a proponent of big-government is an understatement.
“If you listen closely, all the things he supports increase the size,
power and cost of government. From subsidies for energy research to
increasing money for health care and government housing, the size,
power, and cost of government will not shrink under a President Mike
Huckabee; they will increase . . . Mr. Huckabee swore an oath to
support and defend the Constitution when he became governor, yet many
of his proposals are clearly unconstitutional.” (Source: David Ulrich,
Letter of the Week, World Net Daily, 10/26/07)

In addition, Dr. Jerome Corsi reports that “Financial inducements
arranged by former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee to establish a Mexican
consular office in Little Rock may have violated state law, according
to an Arkansas attorney.”

Writing for World Net Daily, Dr. Corsi exposed the fact that Mike
Huckabee “worked with some of the state’s most prominent and
politically powerful businesses to establish the [Mexican] consulate
as a magnet for drawing illegal immigrants to the state to accept
low-paying jobs.”

Corsi goes on to report that “Arkansas attorney Chip Sexton provided
WND a written legal brief arguing the state government’s sublease to
Mexico of office space for the consulate was illegal under Arkansas
law. Sexton contended the deal raised questions about the
appropriateness of private citizens and corporations in Arkansas
providing financial incentives for the government of Mexico to locate
a consulate office in Little Rock.”

Corsi also writes that “Robert Trevino, commissioner of Arkansas
Rehabilitation Services, told WND he and Huckabee helped arrange state
and private financial support to induce Mexico to establish the
consulate as a business development ‘quid pro quo.’

“Trevino signed on July 7, 2006, a ‘Facilities Use Agreement’ with
Mexican consular officials to rent state government office space for
$1 a year on the second floor of the Arkansas Rehabilitation Services
building at 26 Corporate Hills in Little Rock.”

According to Sexton, not only did subleasing state government offices
to Mexico violate Arkansas state law under Ark. Code Ann.
22-2-114(C)(i) which provides: “After July 1, 1975, no state agency
shall enter into or renew or otherwise negotiate a lease between
itself as lessor or lessee and a nongovernmental or other government
lessor or lessee,” but it was even more offensive in that “there was
nothing in the lease or other agreements that would have prevented the
Mexican consulate from providing legal assistance to illegal aliens.”

In addition, Corsi also exposed the fact that Mike Huckabee worked
with Mexican President Vicente Fox to help provide cheap Mexican labor
for Tyson foods and other large Arkansas corporations. According to
Corsi, “Trevino confirmed he was state director of the League of
United Latin American Citizens, also known as LULAC, an activist group
strongly advocating for the rights of Hispanic immigrants in the U.S.,
when on Oct. 3, 2003, he accompanied Huckabee in a state airplane to
visit [President Vicente] Fox in Mexico.”

There is more.

The American Spectator reported that “Fourteen times, the ethics
commission–a respected body, not a partisan witch-hunt
group–investigated claims against Huckabee. Five of those times, it
officially reprimanded him. And as only MSNBC among the big national
media has reported at an real length, there were lots of other
mini-scandals and embarrassments along the way.”

Plus, writing for The Washington Times, Greg Pierce quoted Hillyer as
saying, “[Huckabee] used public money for family restaurant meals,
boat expenses, and other personal uses. He tried to claim as his own
some $70,000 of furniture donated to the governor’s mansion. He
repeatedly, and obstinately, against the pleadings even from
conservative columnists and editorials, refused to divulge the names
of donors to a ‘charitable’ organization he set up while lieutenant
governor–an outfit whose main charitable purpose seemed to be to pay
Huckabee to make speeches. Then, as a kicker, he misreported the
income itself from the suspicious ‘charity.'”

Mike Huckabee’s beliefs and actions even border on the bizarre.
According to David Keene, Chairman of the American Conservative Union,
“GOP presidential wannabe Mike Huckabee suggested that as president he
would, for the good of the people, support a federal anti-smoking law.
You see, as governor, Huckabee supported such laws because, well, he
doesn’t like smoking and doesn’t think folks should indulge in so
heath-threatening an activity. If he could move on up to the
presidency, he would continue his abolitionist crusade at the national
level without giving much, if any, thought to the question of whether
the Constitution or anything else would legitimize a federal ban on
smoking.”

I have yet one more word of warning for those evangelicals supporting
Huckabee because he is pro-life: Mike Huckabee will most definitely
support Rudy Giuliani should Giuliani obtain the Republican
nomination. Count on it.

I ask you, how could a committed “pro-life” conservative support a
pro-abortion, pro-gay rights, pro-gun control liberal such as Rudy
Giuliani? He couldn’t.

At the end of the day, however, there is absolutely no question that
Huckabee will support Giuliani (or any other pro-abortion Republican),
because, when all is said and done, Huckabee and his fellow
big-government Republicans have no real commitment to the life issue
or to any other conservative principle.

Let’s say it plainly: Mike Huckabee is just another big-government,
establishment politician who will do nothing to stem the tide of
socialism or fascism (pick your poison) emanating from Washington,
D.C., these days.

Dear Christian friend, don’t be duped by Mike Huckabee.

James Dobson Is Right About Rudy Giuliani

Chuck has been deeply involved in the religious right,so he knows what
he is talking about and has a right to criticize them, unlike my dad that
dismisses him as a kook, when he doesn’t know nothing himself but what
the liars in the media tell him like Rush (who deserves to be
tasered). Finally some religious leaders are getting a spine and stop
worshipping their idol of the republican party.Even though Dobson is
against Giuliani their is still no indicaton of him supporting someone
like Ron Paul.Even if the majority of all those who consider themselves
conservative are standing up to the leading phonies it will still take a
miracle for them all to unite for a good leader. If there are a hundred
third party candidates then reps or dems will get it again. It seems as
though we can only get half way there. It is not enough to recognize and
not vote for the big government imposters but everyone has to be united
for one strong leader. If everyone just goes their separate way then it
is like anarchy and nothing will get done.Government will only get worse
if we have the same old two party scam that are drunk with their
power. How dare anyone claim to be christian if they vote for a
pro-abortion candidate. All the hypocrites that use that mantra “WHAT
WOULD JESUS DO?”.Well you know Jesus wouldn’t vote for the mass
slaughter of innocent unborn. All who do are liars that have sold their
soul to Satan. They are not of Christ but of the antichrist and partake
with murderers. To all those who serve the god of this world, this world
an all its politics will pass away.I choose to serve the one and only
eternal God whose kingdom will never pass away. There will be no
republicans or democrats in God’s kingdom. Those who love this world’s
system do no love God.The bible is very clear when it says that those
who love this world the love of the Father is not in them. Those who
serve the political corruption of these times do not know God.It is time
to either wake up and get right with God or be left behind. Those who
recognize the corruption need to see the whole picture. You are not going
to get the truth if you are listening to the mainstream conservative
media because they choose to ignore someone like Ron Paul. That ought to
be a good indication that he is the right one.People have to stop being
lazy by taking any schmucks recommendation and research the candidates
themselves.Don’t even take my word for it.Look up Ron Paul’s site and
see if he stands for what you believe.Just like the bible says SEEK AND
YOU SHALL FIND.Just like in Chuck’s article nobody has stood up for the
unborn like Ron Paul,so he is the clear choice. It doesn’t even matter if
we secure our borders if we are still slaughtering the unborn, which
Satan recieves as a sacrifice, because we will still be cursed if
abortion is still legal. Those who make excuses like abortion has always
existed in this country does’t prove anything.Yes,and look at the
horrible wars of our past that also had tremendous loss, even our own
civil war. This only proves that you cannot justify evil in any
form. There are always consequeces in the loss of many lives. That is the
law of God,eye for eye and life for life. There is a reason for so much
tragedy though nobody wants to admit it or wants to see it.The bible
says that there is a way that seems right unto man but only leads to
death. This lockstep republicanism may seem right to some but it is just
more of the same corruption they pretend they are against. You can tell
those who are hypocrites. They say they are pro-life but when asked if
they would overturn roe v wade they can’t give a straight answer, which
Jesus said was of Satan. If they are not for overturning it then they are
pro-abortion,no choice about it.There is no logic or excuse to back a
president that wants the illegals to take over this country and let the
gangs rule. All Bush has given you is lip service. The illegals are still
flocking over here, nothing has changed. We still have SANCTUARY
CITIES.And of course all you religious phonies that try to use Romans
13,lets see how long you woud adhere to that if Hillary should get
it.Not very long I’m sure. The Bible makes no double standards,so when
you do then you know you are not following the Bible.Any talk show host
that puts down Ron Paul as a kook and claims to be a christian is a liar
and an antichrist. The reason the enemy is attacking Ron Paul is because
he takes a true stand against abortion and wants to overturn Roe v.
Wade. All those who oppose him are of their father, the devil. All these
liars in the media that claim they are conservative christians are
pro-abortion and can’t make excuses for it,so they demonize someone like
Ron Paul because he exposes these hypocrites own wickedness. You also
have to watch out for the fearmongers like Dick Morris (who is a
clintonite phony) that try to stir up a panic over Hillary, which seems
to justify anyone is better then having her.I have never been a fan of
the Clintons but I will not be a fool by electing anyone over her.The
bible speaks against fearmongering,so we know what spirit Dick is of.He
tries to create panic over Hillary by saying homosexuals will take over
the country.Well they already have to a certain degree, thanks to
Bush. What makes it alright for illegals to take over and not
homosexuals? Both are of the same spirit of lawlessness. To God sin is
sin. This also goes back to my theory (and other’s too) that the Bush’s
and the Clinton’s are workning together by taking turns in destroying
this country, each in their own way.In fact liars like Dick Morris and
others were saying in the past that Hillary didn’t stand a chance. These
liars can’t make up their minds.Nowhere in the Bible does it ever
mention the LESSER OF EVILS.There is only righteousness and
wickedness.Anyone that seems to be good but yet still does evil,is
evil.Anyone that continues to believe in the LESSER OF EVILS is
listening to the FATHER OF LIES!

As a conservative Baptist pastor for more than thirty years and a
former executive director for the Moral Majority, my roots in the
Religious Right run pretty deep. However, over the last several years,
I have become a consistent critic of the Religious Right, as faithful
readers of this column already know.

The main objection I have with the Religious Right is they have (for
the most part) given President George W. Bush (and the Republican
Party in general) a complete and total pass. Over the past nearly
seven years now, Bush and GOP leaders have betrayed most every
principle that I ever understood the Religious Right to stand for.
Yet, our national Christian leaders (and local pastors throughout
America) have been content to look the other way and say nothing. Or
worse yet, they have actually defended Bush’s liberal, big-spending,
anti-freedom, and unconstitutional ways. In a nutshell, for a seat at
the king’s table, the Religious Right sold out its principles.

Another criticism I have with our national Christian leaders is the
seeming shallowness they display. About the only thing a Republican
politician has to do to curry favor with our illustrious conservative
Christian leaders is to say that they oppose abortion and
homosexuality. Whether they actually mean it or intend to actually do
anything about it after winning an election doesn’t seem to matter to
a tinker’s dam, however. No, it is actually worse than that. Our
Christian leaders do not even seem to understand how to deal with
these issues in a constitutional republic.

For example, pro-life congressmen such as Ron Paul of Texas are not
“acceptable” to many conservative Christians, because Paul actually
wants to honor his oath of office to “support, protect, and defend the
Constitution of the United States,” which means he is not prepared to
cede to the federal government that which the Constitution has given
to the states. This means that Paul understands that the proper way to
handle the abortion issue is to pass a “Sanctity of Life” bill, which
would recognize the personhood of all unborn babies (thereby giving
them complete governmental protection under the law) and would exempt
the issue from the jurisdiction of the Court. This would have the
effect of immediately overturning Roe v. Wade and ending
abortion-on-demand as we know it. However, not only did the entire
Republican leadership in both houses of Congress and President George
W. Bush not support Dr. Paul when he introduced such a bill, neither
did the leaders of the Religious Right.

In fact, as a whole, the Religious Right continues to ignore Ron
Paul’s candidacy, even though he would probably be the best friend
that conservative Christians ever had in the White House. Alas,
however, there seems to be a giant disconnect in the thinking of many
conservative Christians as to the primacy of constitutional government
and how it relates to religious liberty. As a result, many
conservative Christians continue to support big government policies,
when they are promulgated by Republicans.

(Please see my column on this subject at
http://www.chuckbaldwinlive.com/c2007/cbarchive_20070227.html )

Sadly, I cannot think of a prominent national conservative Christian
leader who has dared to follow the courageous example of the prophet
Nathan and say to King Bush, “Thou art the man.” Instead, they have
served as lackeys and doormats for President Bush. In doing so, they
have lost much credibility, and dare I say, honor.

It even grieves me to say that should the presidential race next year
come down to Hillary Clinton and Rudy Giuliani, many conservative
Christians would support Giuliani. This is in spite of the fact that
Giuliani is not only as bad as Clinton in virtually every area of
significance, but, in many ways, is actually worse. Any Christian who
would argue that his or her convictions would not allow them to vote
for Clinton would have to turn around and surrender those very same
convictions in order to vote for Giuliani. In other words, in a
Clinton-Giuliani race, there is no “lesser of two evils.”

Therefore, since I have been critical of the compromise of our
Christian leaders, it is only fair that I would commend them when
appropriate. Accordingly, I want to praise James Dobson’s recent
statements that he could not support either Rudy Giuliani, Fred
Thompson, or John McCain (albeit I don’t believe his rejection of
Thompson and McCain are necessarily for the right reasons).

Regarding Giuliani, Dobson said, “I cannot, and will not, vote for
Rudy Giuliani in 2008. It is an irrevocable decision. If given a
Hobson’s–Dobson’s?–choice between him and Sens. Hillary Clinton or
Barack Obama, I will either cast my ballot for an also-ran–or if
worse comes to worst–not vote in a presidential election for the
first time in my adult life. My conscience and my moral convictions
will allow me to do nothing else.”

Hooray! It is about time that some of our national conservative
Christian leaders began telling the truth about these phony
conservatives in the Republican Party. However, Dobson needs to keep
going and list the liberal Mitt Romney, and also CFR member (along
with Thompson), womanizer, and elitist Newt Gingrich as unacceptable
candidates.

Giuliani is especially revolting. Dobson is right to say he will vote
third party or not vote at all rather than vote for Giuliani. After my
recent exposé on Giuliani (see
http://www.chuckbaldwinlive.com/c2007/cbarchive_20070921.html ),
numerous residents of New York City wrote me to express their
agreement with my assertions.

I seldom reprint the responses of readers. However, one New Yorker
wrote the following, which seemed to reflect the feelings of most
every New Yorker who responded to my column:

“I lived in NYC for most of my life. Giuliani was the worst mayor the
city has ever had. I and millions of New Yorkers [are] well aware of
Giuliani’s duplicitous, mean, autocratic, and just downright scary
personality. His father was a small time mafia enforcer that did
prison time. Rudy has many of his father’s characteristics.

“Thank you for helping to expose this Hitler in waiting. As mayor of
NYC, he trashed and spat upon people’s rights, especially minorities.
He inflamed and divided the peoples of NYC. He opened the city coffers
to his corporate crony plunderers and left the city with a monumental
deficit.

“Many New Yorkers have been blogging for years, trying to alert the
people to this madman’s dictatorial and corrupt ways. Thanks for your
help.”

This email response was typical of the many I received from New
Yorkers.

It is high time for each and every one of us who claims to love
freedom and liberty, who claims to appreciate our history and
heritage, and who claims a desire to perpetuate a free and independent
America for our posterity to stop promoting the insane “lesser of two
evils” mantra and to start supporting only those men and women who
have PROVEN they deserve our support, party or political label
notwithstanding.

Dobson is right about Giuliani. I only wish he had been willing to
tell the truth about one George W. Bush. Maybe then we would not be in
the mess we are in today, because Bush is the precursor to Giuliani
and Clinton. And those who supported and fawned over Dubya only waxed
the skis for Giuliani and Clinton.

THE FIX IS IN!

“Bush quietly advising Hillary Clinton, top Democrats.” This is the
title of a much under-reported news story, which appeared in The
Examiner on September 24th. The Examiner opens the story by saying,
“President Bush is quietly providing back-channel advice to Hillary
Rodham Clinton, urging her to modulate her rhetoric so she can
effectively prosecute the war in Iraq if elected president.”

The story stems from an interview with White House Chief of Staff,
Josh Bolten, for The Examiner’s Senior White House correspondent Bill
Sammon’s new book, “The Evangelical President.”

The Examiner said “Bush wants enough continuity in his Iraq policy
that ‘even a Democratic president would be in a position to sustain a
legitimate presence there.'” Bolten went on to say that “He [Bush]
wants to create the conditions where a Democrat not only will have the
leeway, but the obligation to see it [the war in Iraq] out.”

Bolten made it clear that Bush expects the war in Iraq to continue
“[n]o matter who the president is, no matter what party . . .”

The Examiner story also reported, “A senior White House official said
the administration did not put much stock in pledges by Democratic
presidential candidates to swiftly end the Iraq war if elected.”

The White House official said, “They [the Democratic frontrunners] are
being advised by smart people. We’ve got colleagues here on the staff
who have good communications with some of the thinkers on that side.

“And there is recognition by most of them that there has to be a
long-term presence [in Iraq] by the United States . . .”

The Examiner also quotes Vice President Dick Cheney as saying, “And I
think we’ll increasingly see a lot of emphasis on deciding who the
next occupant of the Oval Office is going to be.”

As you read the above, did you not ask the question, “Why is this not
a front page story in the mainstream media?” If the media truly wanted
to do its job, this story would be page one in every major newspaper
and the lead story on every television and radio network news show.
But it’s not. Why? Because the powers that control the mainstream
media are the same ones who control the two major parties and they
don’t want the American people to know that the “fix” is already in.
George W. Bush knows it; Hillary Clinton knows it; Dick Cheney knows
it; the CFR knows it; Democrat and Republican insiders know it; and
now you know it.

I have attempted to warn my readers that the Bushes and Clintons have
been “best buds” for years (see
http://www.chuckbaldwinlive.com/c2007/cbarchive_20070717.html ).
My initial source for this report was someone who was among the
Clintons’ closest friends for much of his life. Whatever acrimony one
may perceive to exist between the two families is purely for show.
Democrats expect the Clintons to lambaste the Bushes. Republicans
expect the Bushes to do the same thing to the Clintons. So they do. It
is all political theater.

For that matter, Bill Sammon’s new book promoting the idea that Bush
is an “Evangelical President” is more political theater. Bush has
simply hijacked the evangelical movement in order to push forward a
globalist New World Order agenda.

Believe me, the Bushes and Clintons are friends, and have been for
decades–at least since George H.W. Bush was President and Bill
Clinton was Governor of Arkansas. At least since then–probably
longer.

However, the connection between the Bushes and Clintons is much deeper
than that. Both families are also part of the inside cabal of New
World Order globalists. They share the same clubs, the same parties,
and the same agenda. Why else do you think that when G.W. Bush became
President he did not undo anything Bill Clinton had done? For the same
reason that Hillary Clinton will not undo anything that G.W. Bush has
done when she becomes President–and that includes the Iraq war.

Mark it down: Hillary will keep U.S. troops in Iraq. She will also
follow through with whatever other military plans Bush has already put
in place. She will continue with Bush’s push for the North American
Union, amnesty for illegal aliens, and the NAFTA Superhighway. She
will continue the Patriot Act, domestic surveillance, and even Bush’s
“enemy combatant” classification for American citizens. She will also
do nothing to restore Posse Comitatus.

Those Democrats who really believe they are voting for “change” when
they vote for Hillary next year are in for a rude awakening. They will
awaken to the same reality that those who thought they were voting for
change when they voted for Dubya have come to realize: it does not
matter to a tinker’s dam whether G.W. or Hillary is elected President.
They are both marching to the same drummer. (Neither would it matter
should Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson, John McCain, Mitt Romney, Barack
Obama, or John Edwards become President.) The “fix” is in. So much so
that G.W. Bush is already privately counseling Hillary on what to do
after she becomes President.

I tried to warn my readers of this connection as far back as 2002 (see
http://www.chuckbaldwinlive.com/c2002/cbarchive_20020913.html ). I
thought the set up would put Hillary in the White House in 2004, but
obviously, my timing was off one election. 2008 is the year the global
elite–with much help from both the Clinton and Bush machines–will
put Hillary in the White House.

It is no accident, my friends, that there is no “top tier” contender
in the GOP this year that is able to galvanize grassroots Republicans.
Neither is it an accident that Bush’s policies are increasingly
unpopular, thus further alienating both the Republican and
conservative base and the American people in general from the GOP
ticket next year. Dubya is merely setting up a Hillary victory in much
the same way that Daddy Bush set up a victory for Bill back in 1992.

Make no mistake about it: Hillary Clinton is the “anointed” pick of
her fellow elitists to become President of the United States in 2008.

Obviously, a wholesale political revolution could derail the plans of
the elitist egomaniacs who control our country right now, but I don’t
believe the American people, and especially the pastors (who have the
most power to accomplish this task), have the stomach for it.

The only way for the American people to thwart the plans of the
international cabal currently calling the shots in Washington, D.C.,
and New York City is by a massive rejection of both major parties’
prominent Presidential candidates. This would require wholesale
support for independent-minded, non-elitist candidates such as Ron
Paul, Tom Tancredo, Duncan Hunter, or Alan Keyes. Even better, a
grassroots uprising of support for independent constitutionalists such
as Jerome Corsi or Judge Roy Moore–on a Constitution Party ticket
(see http://www.constitutionparty.com/ )–would put the elitists in
retreat for decades to come. However, I see little hope for such a
revolution. (Then again, there was little hope for George Washington
and the boys either.)

So, come November 2008, Hillary Clinton will be your President, and
she will continue the same basic policies of one George W. Bush, who
continued the same basic policies of one Bill Clinton, who continued
the same basic policies of one George Herbert Walker Bush. One would
think that eventually the American people would begin to catch on.
Until they do, however, the “fix” is in.

A Giuliani Nomination Dooms America

This past week, I was interviewed by best-selling author and World Net
Daily columnist Jerome Corsi. (Read the column at
http://www.wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=57953 ) The subject of
the interview was the potential conservative Christian response to the
possibility that Rudy Giuliani would gain the Republican nomination
for President next year. (We also discussed the cozy connection
between the Bush and Clinton families, which will probably be dealt
with in a future Corsi column.)

I told Dr. Corsi, “A lot of conservative Christians will never vote
for Rudy Giuliani.” I will even go so far as to say that no genuine
Christian conservative could possibly vote for Giuliani. And, no, it
does not matter that Hillary Clinton might be elected President as a
result. A Giuliani or Clinton choice is tantamount to a choice between
Nero or Caligula.

Let me say it plainly: a Hillary Clinton administration would be no
worse than a Rudy Giuliani administration. In some ways, it might not
be as bad. At least, with a Democrat in the White House, conservatives
might try to act like conservatives and muster the energy to actually
oppose some of her liberal proposals.

The record is clear: when a Republican is in the White House,
conservatives not only lose their backbone, they also lose their brain
cells. They walk around in a daze without the ability to even see what
is going on right before their eyes. They become “mind-numbed robots”
with no commitment to principle whatsoever. Why? Because one of “their
own” is in office. At that point, it becomes a “see no evil, hear no
evil, and speak no evil” situation. If two George W. Bush
administrations have taught us anything, they have taught us that.

Of course, there are pseudo-conservatives who will argue that Giuliani
is better than Hillary, because he will not be as prone to raise taxes
as Hillary would be. These are the Rockefeller Republicans who could
not care less about the murder of unborn babies, or the destruction of
the American family, or whether any citizen maintains the right to
keep and bear arms, or whether U.S. sovereignty is surrendered, or
whether our country is led by a modern Napoleon, or whether America is
merged into a North American Union, or whether illegal aliens are
granted citizenship, ad infinitum. The only thing they care about is
their pocketbook. They are piranhas who only want to manipulate
politics to feed their own selfish and greedy interests. They would
vote for the devil himself, if he promised them more money.

Not that liberals are any better. They are not. But at least one knows
exactly what to expect from liberals and how to oppose them.

Real patriotism is neither money-hungry nor socialistic. Real patriots
want what is best for America, not what is best for themselves. They
understand and appreciate America’s Christian heritage and are not
trying to turn the United States into a politically correct,
Balkanized, welfare state. They understand the importance of
preserving constitutional government, the Bill of Rights, and
Declaration principles. As a result, real patriots are looking for
statesmen, not charlatans.

It is unclear at this point exactly how many true patriots are left in
America. The 2008 elections will certainly help clarify the issue a
great deal, because no real patriot, no real conservative could
support Rudy Giuliani.

I have a hunch, however, that there are more genuine patriots left in
our country than many people want to admit. For example, I have been
swamped with emails from readers assuring me that they will never vote
for Giuliani NO MATTER WHAT. Here is a sample email that I just
received from San Jose, California:

“I keep reading and watching on TV (mostly Fox News) that most
Republicans will vote for Giuliani with the hopes of defeating
Hillary. Today I again read the same dribble from NewsMax. For what
it’s worth here is my response to them:

“Who on the NewsMax staff came up with this 47% of Republicans will
vote for Giuliani because they’re afraid of Hillary?

“Afraid of the Hildabeast? Please!

“All but a very few of my associates are Republicans and none, repeat,
none are going to vote for Giuliani and that’s right here in the
People’s Republik of Kalifornia even.

“If the Republican Party does not move back to the Right AS IT SHOULD
BE, all of my friends without exception are going to change to the
Conservative Constitution Party or re-register as an Independent. I’ve
already made the change as has my wife and daughter.”

I have received scores of emails that say the same thing.

As I have already written, I personally believe that the elitists who
control both major parties are manipulating the election so as to
ensure a Hillary victory. And, yes, the Bush machine is clandestinely
supporting Hillary as well. They know that real conservatives will not
support Giuliani, which is why they are promoting him. He is the fall
guy for Hillary Clinton. But in case he did win, he would continue to
do the bidding of the international elites just as Dubya has done.
They win either way.

If real conservatives within the GOP want to head off a Giuliani
catastrophe, they need to get behind someone such as Ron Paul. If
Giuliani obtains the presidential nomination, one of two things will
happen: he will lose the general election and facilitate massive
Republican losses in both houses of Congress, or he will win the
election and turn the GOP into a Big-Government, police-state,
warmongering leviathan that will forever corrupt the Party, turning it
into something reminiscent of Nazi Germany. America loses either way.

Grassroots Republicans have an opportunity in the primaries to reject
the liberal, Big-Government path that the GOP leadership is forcing on
the Party by rejecting the Big-Government candidates, Rudy Giuliani,
Fred Thompson, Mitt Romney, and John McCain. Candidates such as Duncan
Hunter, Tom Tancredo, and Ron Paul give conservatives
within the GOP alternatives to these Big-Government neocons. (Mike
Huckabee is too much in the mushy middle for me.)

However, if the Rockefellers succeed in nominating someone such as
Giuliani, real patriots will do what they have always done–stand for
principle and vote independent. (It is time we had a major independent
challenge to the two major parties, anyway.) If you want to start
doing some homework now about the possibility of voting for real
conservatives in the 2008 elections, do what that person in California
did and check out the Constitution Party at
http://www.constitutionparty.com

The line in the sand is being drawn. Better start thinking now about
where you will stand. As for me and my house, we would rather stand on
the Bible and the U.S. Constitution and vote our conscience than bow
the knee to madmen such as Rudy Giuliani.
