Thank You, Dr. Ron Paul For Your Endorsement by Presidential Candidate Chuck Baldwin

Posted by soldierservant on October 1, 2008

Wow! This is great news! I almost feared that there might be division
between Ron Paul supporters and Chuck Baldwin’s supporters. Now that he
has endorsed Chuck that may give him the boost he needs. His message
couldn’t have come at a better time. If people are truly fed up with all
this financial tyranny then they will vote for Chuck. If not, then they
are not sincere and will deserve every bit of hardship they get. If the
majority despise the truth then no mercy will be shown to them. Here now
everyone, especially christians can promote a candidate that is not the
lesser of evils and not partake in the deeds of darkness. So by how the
votes come out we will know if this nation is done for or not. But
besides christians there are still many heathen that pride themselves as
nonconformists. We will see if they are for real or not too. Everyone
benefits from Chucks presidency, whether they are religious or not. I
love the way he came out and denounced religious tyranny in this
message, proving that he is for real and not one of these satanic
dominionists. We have to really pray that Chuck succeeds. I know there
are a lot of bushbots, like those of my family that will never vote for
any but a republican. They are the ultimate hypocrites. They are like
those who they condemn. They say that those like their own parents that
were traditional democrats were bound in traditionalism. Look who is
talking. I have heard these hypocrites says that they would vote for the
right man no matter what party they belong to. I know that to be a total
and complete lie. But still I hope many are not as far gone as they.
They are a lost cause. Sorry to load you down with all these messages. I
know with all that is going on you probably have to keep up with an
awful lot corcerning this financial meltdown. I urge you to put Chuck’s
message here on your blog to help get out the true alternative vote in
this election. This is our only chance to really change things for the
better. If we get the usual scum we may not have a country or even
elections anymore.

Yesterday, September 22, Congressman Ron Paul publicly gave me his
endorsement for the office of President of the United States. In his blog at
the Campaign for Liberty web site, he said, “I’m supporting Chuck Baldwin,
the Constitution Party candidate.” (See the complete statement at: )

Obviously, I could not be more delighted and honored to have Dr. Paul’s
endorsement. I called him last evening and thanked him personally. And now I
want to thank him publicly.

I am fully aware that Dr. Paul was under considerable pressure from various
groups that were actively soliciting his support. I can honestly say that I
never lobbied Dr. Paul for his endorsement. He knew I would be thrilled to
have it, but I have too much respect for Ron Paul to be so presumptuous as
to expect him to endorse me. I completely understood his neutrality. He has
strong ties to both the Libertarian and Constitution parties–not to mention
the obvious fact that he is a ten-term Republican Congressman with much
support from the Republican Party in his home district.

I was happy to support Ron Paul during the Republican primaries, because I
believe in the same principles. I personally campaigned for him in several
states and in this column. And I asked (or expected) nothing in return. In
fact, I have stated this publicly, time and again: if Ron Paul had won the
Republican nomination for President, I would not be running. I would still
be supporting Ron Paul.

I am running for President because the Republican Party rejected Ron’s
Paul’s message of constitutional government, fiscal responsibility, and
non-interventionism. Therefore, someone had to pick up the mantle and carry
this message into the general election. The Constitution Party asked me to
be their standard-bearer in order to bring this message to the American
people in November. So, here I am. And now, Ron Paul’s endorsement is
further substantiation that the message of constitutional government will
not die in 2008. The American people still have a real choice instead of the
big-government, globalist, interventionist, “big box” party candidates, John
McCain and Barack Obama.

Ron Paul’s message is my message; Ron Paul’s fight is my fight.

I want to return America to constitutional government. “The powers not
delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to
the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
(Amendment X) I believe that, and will govern the Executive branch of the
federal government accordingly.

My sworn oath to the Tenth Amendment means I would dismantle the Patriot Act
and restore law enforcement to the states and local governments, where it
rightly belongs. Yes, this includes the so-called “war on drugs” and the
so-called “war on terror.” No more warrantless searches and seizures. No
more eavesdropping on Americans’ phone calls, or collecting Americans’
emails, or spying on American citizens without court order and oversight. No
more stripping Americans of their constitutional rights in the name of
“national security.” In addition, I would use every power and authority
vested to my office to preserve and protect the right of the people to keep
and bear arms. And, yes, I will immediately restore Posse Comitatus. As
President, I want to protect America from Washington, D.C., as much I want
to protect it from foreign powers.

I will also take the words of the Declaration of Independence seriously,
where it states, “That these United Colonies are, and of Right ought to be
Free and Independent States.” This means the day I am sworn in as President
of the United States, the New World Order comes crashing down! The NAFTA
superhighway is dead. The North American Union is dead. I will work to
eliminate NAFTA, CAFTA, GATT, and the WTO. The FTAA is DOA. I will not
expend tax dollars for the support of the United Nations.

Furthermore, I will take my oath to the Constitution seriously, when it
states that one of the express purposes of the federal government is to
“repel Invasions.” This means we will secure America’s borders, because the
illegal immigration crisis is more than mere immigration: it is an invasion,
and I will stop it! Even if I have to send the U.S. Army to the borders, we
will put a stop to this invasion of illegal aliens. I will also aggressively
prosecute those employers who knowingly hire illegals. And did I mention
that my first day in office is Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean’s last
day in prison? I will personally open the prison doors and restore to these
men their freedom. I will also give them their jobs back (with pay), if they
want them. And one more item on this point: my first day of office is also
U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton’s last day on the job.

I also share Ron Paul’s concerns for the way the two major parties have
allowed the United States to become a meddlesome, interventionist,
nation-building empire for the sake of satisfying the greedy machinations of
international bankers and power-hungry politicians. I will not only bring
our troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan, but also from most of the other
130 nations that currently house U.S. forces. I will end foreign aid. I will
get the U.S. out of NATO. It is past time for the European states to defend
themselves. It is time for us to stop sticking our nose in every other
nation’s business and start taking care of the United States. The Warfare
State will kill us. Global empires are not sustainable. I repeat: global
empires are not sustainable. If history teaches anything, it teaches that.

Furthermore, the Bush doctrine of pre-emptive war is over, when I become
President. Because I will take my oath to the Constitution seriously, I
would never send troops to invade and occupy a foreign country without a
Declaration of War by Congress. In dealing with rogue terrorist
organizations such as al Qaeda, I will seek letters of Marque and Reprisal
from Congress, which would give me the authority to use whatever special
and/or private forces are necessary to seek out and destroy those who desire
our hurt.

And even though I am a born again Christian (as is Ron Paul), I would take
my responsibility to protect the religious liberty of every American
seriously. People have the right to worship God (or not worship God)
according to the dictates of their own conscience. Whether one is Baptist,
Catholic, Mormon, or agnostic, people have the right to practice their faith
as they see fit. I am absolutely dedicated to preserving religious liberty.
Religious tyranny is as evil as political or social tyranny. And, as I will
be no man’s slave, neither will I be any man’s master.

I also share Ron Paul’s commitment to the sanctity of life. When I become
President, I will use the bully pulpit of the White House to press Congress
to pass Dr. Paul’s Sanctity of Life Act, which would overturn Roe v. Wade
and end abortion-on-demand. On this topic, the GOP is especially
hypocritical. The Republican Party controlled the entire federal government
for six years and did nothing to save the life of a single unborn child.
Saving unborn babies from the abortionists’ scalpel is more than rhetoric
with me, however.

Another area of agreement with Ron Paul is my philosophy of economics. Dr.
Paul has been predicting the current financial meltdown in this country for
years. And when all is done, the current bailout being proposed will do more
harm than good. The problem is, America’s leaders have rejected sound money
policies for years, and the chickens are coming home to roost.

As President, I would seek to overturn the 16th Amendment, eliminate the
Internal Revenue Service, and disband the Federal Reserve. I would lead the
charge to return America to sound money principles. I would seek to reduce
federal spending to constitutional levels by eliminating those same federal
departments that Newt Gingrich promised to eliminate in his Contract with
America back in 1994 (and then failed to do). I would seek to eliminate the
Departments of Education, Commerce, Energy, etc. I would demand that
Congress pass a balanced budget and that we stop deficit spending.

Neither John McCain nor Barack Obama will do any of the above. If he were
President, Dr. Paul would do it, however, and so would I.

Needless to say, I am both humbled and honored that Ron Paul would place
enough faith in me that he would endorse me for President. I can think of no
higher compliment to my candidacy. I here and now publicly thank him for
this vote of confidence. I know my Vice Presidential running mate, Darrell
Castle (a former Marine Corps officer and Vietnam veteran), joins me in
inviting all of Dr. Paul’s supporters to help us take the message of
constitutional government into the general election on November 4. Thank
(c) Chuck Baldwin

The Religious Right Is AWOL From The Real War by Chuck Baldwin

Posted by soldierservant on August 24, 2008

I agree with this except for his stance on abortion, which is more
important than those other so-called important matters, but I also
understand about all the false labels of those who profess to be
pro-life who really aren’t because they support the pro-death
republicans. So yes, as far as shallow labels go, abortion isn’t
important when it is only a pretense to oppose it, unlike the real thing
of those like Earthquake Kelley. This exposes hypocrites like James
Dobson, who pretends to oppose McCain but you know will end up
supporting him because that is the nature of the beast. The religious
leaders are so predictable and just like the Pharisees of Jesus’ day who
sought favor with wicked rulers like Herod. There is no doubt where they
are headed because Matthew 5:20, Jesus spells it out very clear that
unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees you will
certainly not enter the kingdom of God. The word of God is the perfect
moral compass for any who truly care about their own salvation. Those
who sell out to this world do not know God. Those who distort
“submission to rulers” in scripture prove they do not know Christ
because they are teaching the opposite by conformity to wicked rulers,
which he taught against. So many places in God’s word says that those
who love this world the love of the Father is not in them. Those who
clamor over false politics like this two party sham prove their love for
this evil world and their devotion to darkness. If those passages about
submission meant blind loyalty then none of those apostles would have
been martyred, because according to the hypocrites version they should
obey rulers no matter what. Well all the apostles were disobedient to
their rulers and why they were persecuted. Most communist countries do
not kill christians for what they believe but kill them for their
actions, which is disobedient to their laws. People are going to have to
decide where their loyalty is. Either God or the republican/democrat
sham. The eternal or the temporal. This world an all its wicked politics
will pass away. How embarrasing it will be for those who choose the
temporal over the eternal, just like Esau did. CHOOSE THIS DAY WHOM YOU

I want to begin this column with one of my all-time favorite quotes. It
comes from the great German reformer Martin Luther. He said, “If I profess
with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of
God except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at
that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be
professing Christ. Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier
is proved; and to be steady on all the battlefield besides is mere flight
and disgrace if he flinches at that point.”

Luther’s trenchant statement reminds us that today’s Christians, especially
our Christian leaders, are conspicuously absent from the field of battle.
Oh, they may host large crowds in their gatherings; they may deposit
multiplied millions of dollars in their financial accounts; they may receive
thunderous applause from politicians, but they have fled the battlefield at
the point of attack.

For the record, the real battlefield today is not abortion. It is not
homosexual marriage. It is not Social Security. It is not al Qaeda. It is
not taxes. It is not inflation. It is not electing conservatives. It is not
posting the Ten Commandments. It is not even the high cost of gasoline. That
is not to say that those issues are not important and not deserving of our
best efforts and attention, because they are. But those issues do not
represent the major battlefield today.

The battlefield where the devil has amassed his greatest forces and is
thrusting his deadliest armies is the surrender of our national sovereignty
and independence, and the creation of global government. And it is our own
political and corporate leaders that are facilitating this chicanery.
Furthermore, by refusing to oppose this surrender, our Christian leaders are
complicit as well.

Obviously, the surrender of our independence has been ongoing for some time.
However, under Bill Clinton and especially under G.W. Bush, the pace has
quickened exponentially.

Doubtless, the biggest reason President Bush has more aggressively hastened
the pace of America’s merger into supranational government is because he
enjoys widespread support among evangelical Christians. Absent opposition
from Christian leaders, G.W. Bush has virtually had a free hand. And please
know this: before Bush was a Republican, before he was a “conservative,”
before he was a Christian, he was and is a globalist, as was his father and
grandfather before him.

Because our national Christian leaders are content to revel in the lap of
political cronyism with President Bush (and the Republican Party), they have
abandoned their positions as watchmen on the wall. Instead of being watchmen
and heralds of truth, they have become political lackeys and toadies for the

Now, just yesterday, James Dobson declares that he “might” support John
McCain. This in spite of the fact that only a few months ago Mr. Dobson
promised, “I cannot and I will not vote for Sen. John McCain as a matter of

Ah, but that is just the problem: when it comes to groveling before the GOP,
our Christian leaders have no conscience. Hence, James Dobson is now
publicly saying he “might” support McCain.

The ones who are doing the yeoman’s work in trying to warn the American
people to what is happening in regard to the surrender of our country’s
liberties and independence are people such as Congressman Ron Paul and Dr.
Jerome Corsi.

Many of you know Corsi as the man who co-authored the Number 1 New York
Times best-seller, “Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against
John Kerry.”

Jerome Corsi holds a Ph.D. from Harvard University in political science. He
is not some fringe-radical (not that Harvard hasn’t produced its own
radicals). Religiously, my understanding is that Corsi is either a Roman
Catholic or Episcopalian. However, Corsi is doing what James Dobson, Tony
Perkins, et al. should be doing, but aren’t: he is sounding the trumpet of
truth for the real battlefield.

In a nutshell, Corsi warns us that G.W. Bush is secretly working to merge
the United States into a trilateral government with Canada and Mexico. Corsi
maintains that back in March of 2005, President Bush, Mexican President
Vicente Fox, and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin entered into an
agreement that binds the three countries into a regional or hemispheric

Corsi insists that this is one of the central reasons why Bush is so adamant
about granting amnesty to Mexico’s illegal aliens. Bush is simply following
through with his commitment to Fox and Martin.

Corsi also notes that this new hemispheric entity already has a name. It is
called the North American Union (NAU), and it is being created without any
input (or even knowledge) from our legislative or judicial branches of
government. The official name of the agreement made between the three
leaders is the “Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America” (SPP).
Obviously, the new NAU is modeled after the already established European
Union (EU).

Folks, please be aware that President Bush has already committed the United
States to a regional or hemispheric government. When completed, this
regional government will control everything relative to the “security” and
“prosperity” of this new North American Union. That includes everything
relating to travel, law enforcement, trade, education, military matters,
etc. So, what is left out? Nothing.

Please remember, too, that all of this is being done without any input from
the American people or their elected representatives at the state or federal
level. I would even dare say that the vast majority of congressmen and
senators are completely oblivious to the fact that this is even happening.
With the attention of the American people (and Congress) focused on the
Middle East, Bush and his cabal of elitists are moving forward with plans to
surrender our national independence and merge our country into a regional
government. Friends, this is the real war; this is the real battlefield.

When America loses its sovereignty and independence, we will lose all of our
fundamental liberties. The Constitution will be meaningless and irrelevant.
The Bill of Rights will be moot. The principles of religious liberty, the
right to life, and the Christian foundation of our country will be passé.
And, as I said at the outset of this column, our national leaders,
especially our Christian leaders, are totally absent from this battlefield.

The surrender of our national sovereignty and independence is where the
battle currently rages; it is where the devil is at this moment attacking
(to quote Luther). But where is the Religious Right? They have flinched and
fled in the face of battle. They would rather hold onto their precious perks
of power within the ivory towers of partisan politics. Luther is right:
their actions are disgraceful. (c) Chuck Baldwin

Countdown To 2010 And The End Of America!

Posted by soldierservant on August 21, 2008

I agree with this pretty much. The only thing that he talked about the
american people being armed, but little good does that do if they
lockstep to our wicked leaders. I see the wimps gladly doing whatever
Bush or McCain asks them because they do not have one single original
thought in their heads because they have to be told by the likes of Rush
what to think, nor have they any intestinal fortitude to stand up to our
own scoundrels. So much for “land of the free and home of the BRAVE.” If
knowledge is power than most americans are powerless because they are so
clueless. If most americans had knowledge or even cared they would not
fall for the same old “lesser-of-evil” lies. This country will get what
it deserves. Gas prices are unrelenting and it will only get worse.
People know how to reverse this but they are too evil and rebellious to
change, like a dog back to its vomit. The american people have no reason
to gripe because they brought this on themselves! You conform to wicked
rulers and you will reap the results because God is not mocked! None of
the people today, including the military, have the stuff that our
forefathers were made of nor do they even have a clue as to who they
were. Our forefathers were not fools easily duped into fighting false
wars and given to senseless warmongering. They picked their fights well
and did not fight out of bloodlust like today’s military does. They did
not fight for globalism like today’s military does, but fought for their
own independence from tyrannies the likes of which we face today from
Bush and the rest. Our forefathers would not put up with the likes of
Bush selling out the country they fought so hard for. Bush would have
been executed for treason back in that day when treason was a capital
offense. Now it seems treachery is what helps candidates get elected
these days.

Free republics are not known to have long life expectancies. At the ripe old
age of two hundred and thirty-two, America is definitely showing her age.
She is long past her prime, and some are predicting her demise. No, some are
PLANNING her demise.

Thomas Jefferson and the other founders of this once-great country believed
there was a controlling cabal that was crafting America’s servitude. With
the assistance of Heaven, they decided to fight those forces. Pastors fought
with fiery sermons from the pulpit; newsmen fought with the power of the
pen; statesmen fought in the halls of Congress; and merchants fought with
the sacrifice of their material gain. Together, they lifted Lady Liberty to
her feet and defeated the powers of darkness.

It took the global elite a long time to recover, but they have reemerged
with a vengeance. They are now on the precipice of accomplishing what their
great granddaddies failed to do: bring the “Liberty or Death” colonists
under their power and control.

Sadly, we no longer have the will to resist servitude. Our pulpits are too
busy preaching a prosperity gospel; newsmen are in bed with the forces they
once disdained; statesmen have been replaced with opportunistic,
self-serving politicians; and merchants know no god but money. Hence, it is
left to a small–and I mean very small–remnant to sound the clarion call
for freedom and independence. Unfortunately, few seem to be listening to
their cries.

2010 seems to be a banner year for these designers of despotism. That is the
target year for the implementation of the North American Community, which
will commercially unite the United States with Canada and Mexico. The global
elite suffered a minor setback when the U.S. Senate failed to pass the
Bush/McCain/Kennedy/Graham amnesty-for-illegal-aliens bill. But if you think
that John Mccain is going to let that bill lie on the floor of defeat, you
don’t understand these people. Should McCain become President, He will do
everything he can to implement some kind of amnesty law. Barack Obama will
do the same. The reason? It is essential to the designers of despotism that
our borders be eliminated.

Yes, I am saying it: George W. Bush, John McCain, and Barack Obama are part
of the global elite that seeks America’s entrance into an international New
World Order. In fact, neither Presidential candidate from the two major
parties will offer any resistance to this obstinate and oppressive

Perhaps one day the American people will wake up and realize that they are
being led as sheep to the slaughter. I’m just not sure that it will be soon
enough, however. 2010 is just around the corner.

There seems to be only one obstacle standing in the way of the globalists:
America’s citizens are the most heavily armed people in the world. That fact
must surely stick in the throats of the globalists like a chicken bone.

Thank God that America’s founders put the Second Amendment in the
Constitution. Without America’s deep-rooted commitment to the right of the
people to keep and bear arms, we would have been sold into slavery decades

Without the intellectual understanding of the principles of freedom and the
moral resolve to maintain those principles, however, guns, by themselves,
will only protect us for so long. In the end, our strength and protection
come from God, and not too many people these days seem to be interested in
His opinion.

Lady Liberty is walking very gingerly these days, and the path she treads is
laden with traps and quicksand. The globalists have their handpicked puppets
positioned to take up where The Three Amigos (George Bush I, Bill Clinton,
and George Bush II) have left off. The pieces of the puzzle are almost all
in place. 2010 just might be the year that Lady Liberty lowers her torch,
folds her arms, and falls fast asleep.

For what it is worth, however, I pledge no loyalty to this emerging New
World Order. Neither will I let Lady Liberty die without a fight. I will say
it again: the battle today is not between conservatives and liberals or
Republicans and Democrats. It is a battle between Americans and globalists.
And, Ladies and Gentlemen, I am an American!

Today’s Christians: No Hope In God’s Way by Chuck Baldwin

This is another great article from Chuck. He is using the books of the
prophets, the perfect example of this age, proving there is nothing new
under the sun. Like Einstein said that insanity is when you do something
over and over again, expecting different results. Those who are partisan
are lying hypocrites because both parties are the same and is
hypocritical judgment, the only kind of judgment Jesus condemned. Those
who bash Obama cannot say how McCain would be better. In fact Obama has
changed his position on the war like I said he would. Those who think we
are nuts cannot explain that. The dems are war profiteers too. WE TOLD
THEM SO! Mike Evans has said that the next president (of the two party
scam) will continue the treacherous policies against Israel. Notice that
he didn’t say it was just dems. People have got to be lunatics to still
believe in this joke of a system, the way the opposing sides are so
alike but pretend a world of difference. What difference is there?
Taxes? So taxes is more important to a professing christian than
abortion? It sure seems that way. Either side you will get war without
end, endless corruption, abortion, and globalism. One thing I strongly
disagree with Mike Evans is that he acts as though our policies towards
Israel is the only determining factor whether this nation is blessed or
cursed. I agree that it is very important but abortion is just as
important because a nation that sheds innocent blood is cursed. If we
break just one law it is as if we break them all (James 2:10-11). There
is no such thing as half-good or lesser-of-evils. People would know this
if they really love God and read His Word. You are either with God all
the way and obey all His commands or else you are damned. It is obvious
that God will not allow lawbreakers into His kingdom. I will repeat what
I have said many times before that the republicans are more guilty of
supporting aborton because they have increased funds for it through
PLANNED PARENTHOOD by TITLE X of H.R.4818 back in February of 2005,
taking in $300,000,000.00 in taxes a year, which Bush promised that our
taxes would not support, making him a liar. Both parties are guilty of
this ongoing massacre and all will be held to account for voting for
either of these pro-death parties. It would be better for those who
would vote either way to not have been born. All such are participants
in a massacre. Those who truly repent turn from their wicked ways.
People are warned ahead of time now in order to avoid possible judgment.
Those who plan on voting for either of these two parties, knowing all
this, have premeditated their own sin, which is deliberate sin that no
true believer will commit, and is unlikely of repenting because they
hate truth (God is truth). Such are God-haters, no matter how much they
profess to be saved (Matt. 7:21-23).

I ask the indulgence of my non-churched readers, as this column is
specifically designed to challenge the hearts and minds of professing

The Old Testament prophet Jeremiah faced a generation that is very similar
to the one we face today, I am afraid. Political and corporate leaders had
given themselves over to corruption and duplicity. The fundamental
underpinnings that founded and supported the nation were being dismantled.
And the spiritual leaders seemed to be powerless to do anything about it.

Accordingly, Jehovah God told Jeremiah to give this message to the people of

“At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a
kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;

“If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I
will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.

“And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a
kingdom, to build and to plant it;

“If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of
the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.

“Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you,
and devise a device against you: return ye now every one from his evil way,
and make your ways and your doings good.

“And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices,
and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.” (Jeremiah
18:7-12 KJV)

When these Hebrews said, “There is no hope,” they were not saying, “It’s all
over. We are all doomed. It is helpless.” No, they were not saying that at
all. What they were saying was, “Doing it God’s way offers no hope. We will
do it our way. We will rely upon our own devices, wisdom, and strength. We
can get ourselves out of this mess.” That is the spirit these people

Ladies and Gentlemen, I submit that this is exactly the same spirit that
many professing Christians display today.

Most everyone, including Christian people, realize that our country is in a
mess. They readily agree that a divine healing is needed. They even use the
great stories and examples of the Bible to teach our boys and girls how to
obey and trust God. They extol the examples of Daniel, the three Hebrew
children, Simon Peter and the Apostles, etc. They use these stories to
illustrate the importance of putting obedience to God and God’s principles
above the machinations and demands of men.

When it comes to voting for and supporting candidates who have proven
themselves to be unfaithful to the fundamental principles of liberty and
good government, however, these same Christians suddenly become enamored
with “the lesser of two evils,” and pragmatism. Doing right gives way to
being “practical,” and standing for principle gives way to “not throwing my
vote away.”

Had Daniel been “practical,” he would have stopped praying for a few weeks
and stayed out of the lions’ den. Had the three Hebrew children been
“pragmatic,” they would have given a symbolic bow to the statue of
Nebuchadnezzar. And I can just hear Christians living in the First Century
talking about how they would vote for Nero over Caligula, as he would be
“the lesser of two evils.”

And from our own history, had America’s Founding Fathers heeded the advice
of the “experts” and pundits, they would never have signed the Declaration
of Independence and fought a war for independence. Absolutely no one gave
those brave patriots any chance–any chance–of victory.

Yet, both secular and sacred history are replete with the examples of brave
men and women who were willing to defy the conventional wisdom and
understanding of their times to stand boldly and courageously for the
principles of truth and freedom. In fact, people who dared to defy the
accepted wisdom of their age almost always accomplished the truly great
exploits of history. Christians, among all people, should know this best.

How has it happened, then, that Christians cannot find the courage and
resolve to support principle above political partisanship? How is it that we
have come to embrace “the lesser of two evils” as a legitimate philosophy of
voting? How is it that our spiritual leaders seem to be more concerned about
being politically correct than they are about being Biblically correct?

I believe that God is waiting for His people in America to do what He told
Jeremiah’s generation to do: live and act according to His principles and
trust Him with the result. Instead, many of us seem to be doing exactly what
Jeremiah’s generation did: we want to be pragmatic and wise in our own eyes
and do it our way.

Think what God might do in our land today if every Christian, every
God-fearing man and woman in America, would simply vote their principles
every time they walked into a voting booth, even if the candidate had “no
chance” of winning and whether he or she was told they would be “wasting”
their vote or not. I wonder what God might do? (Besides, when we vote for
evil, what exactly have we “won,” even if they are victorious?)

I am reminded of one of my all-time favorite quotes spoken by John Quincy
Adams. He said, “Duty is ours; results are God’s.”

When people–especially Christian people–start doing their duty and
standing for truth and principle, whether it is considered politically
incorrect, or unpopular, or “naïve,” or anything else; then, and only then,
will God give us the results that will bring healing and restoration of our

So, how many of us will determine to do our duty? Or, how many of us will
say, “There is no hope in doing it God’s way; I will rely upon men’s devices
and do it their way”? The way we answer that question will largely determine
America’s future–for good or for bad.

The Ron Paul Freedom March by Chuck Baldwin

Posted by soldierservant on August 21, 2008

I was privileged to be invited to speak at Congressman Ron Paul’s Freedom
March this past Saturday on the Mall in front of the U.S. Capitol in
Washington, D.C. In fact, I spoke immediately preceding Dr. Paul and helped
introduce the ten-term congressman.

I gauged the crowd to number in excess of five thousand people. All the
participants I observed were very respectful, well mannered, and polite. The
crowd was about as diverse an audience as I have ever spoken to. They came
from all walks of life and from all points across the country. I was able to
spend an hour or more mingling with the crowd and was delighted to meet many
scores of people who already knew of me. A large number indicated that they
were readers of this column.

Participants in the Freedom March all seemed to have this in common: a love
and desire for liberty, and a deep respect and admiration for Congressman
Ron Paul. I count it an honor to have been asked to speak to such a
wonderful group. Dr. Paul said some extremely kind words about me in his
remarks, as did the man who introduced me, Ernest Hancock, the great patriot
from Phoenix, Arizona.

I was also honored to meet several great Americans whom I have come to love
and respect over the years: people such as retired police officer, Jack
McLamb. It was also good to share the podium with my good friend, Howard
Phillips, who was extremely complimentary of me during his address, as was
Officer McLamb.

Marchers had spent six hours in the blazing, 90-degree sun before my turn to
speak arrived. And both Congressman Paul and myself had to catch flights out
of DC soon after our speeches, so I cut my remarks short so as to give Dr.
Paul maximum opportunity to deliver his remarks. Therefore, my speech lasted
only about 5 minutes.

Below is a link to my speech at Ron Paul’s Freedom March (albeit the opening
remarks of the address were inadvertently omitted. Perhaps another video
will surface soon. When it does, we will post it to my web site at ).

See my speech at the Ron Paul Freedom March in Washington, D.C. at

This one thing I surely believe: our liberties and freedoms, yea, the
Constitution itself, are hanging by the thinnest of threads. Both major
parties have sliced and diced constitutional government to the point that
there isn’t much left. And the two presumptive candidates for President from
the two major parties will only continue to eviscerate what few freedoms and
liberties are left.

Both Barack Obama and John McCain will do nothing to secure our borders and
ports. Neither will do anything to quench the thirst of our federal
government for intrusions abroad and meddling within. Neither will do
anything to stop the machinations and lust of the power-elite for globalism
and corporatism. They will do nothing to stop the NAFTA superhighway or the
burgeoning North American Union. They will do nothing to rid our country of
its dependence on foreign oil, and neither will they do anything to stop the
infatuation with spending billions and billions of taxpayer dollars on
foreign aid.
Elect either John McCain or Barack Obama and it will be business as usual in
Washington, D.C.

Those folks who traveled from all over America to participate in Ron Paul’s
Freedom March last Saturday understand this.  They understand that unless we
awaken quickly to what the two major parties are doing to our country, we
will not have a free country much longer. This is why so many people were
willing to travel long distances and march in searing heat. They want their
country back. And so do I.

So, I say, God bless Congressman Ron Paul. God bless those Freedom Marchers.
And God bless all of those folks throughout America who are working
tirelessly to restore our once-great republic. As I said in my speech last
Saturday, “Your fight is my fight!”

Open Borders Prove “War On Terror” Is A Superficial LIE by Chuck Baldwin

Posted by soldierservant on May 28, 2008

This is ever so true. He points out that there is no real difference between McCain and Obama. That is because George Soros funds them both (but not Hillary). We know there is no difference between the parties
because there are republicans supporting Obama. It seems that the tactics of neocons like Rush are backfiring when he tried to divide the democrats in order for McCain to get it, when the republicans will end
up the most divided of them all. They are reaping what they sow. What Chuck said is true about WW2 being the last real war. Even at that, those world wars were inspired by the enemy because those wars are
Satan’s plan to bring about the antichrist. But besides that, Chuck is saying that every war since then has been for the sake of the UN.
Megadeth got it right by calling them the UNITED ABOMINATIONS. I seen a horror movie called UNCLE SAM that was right on the mark of what Chuck is saying here. There was a war veteran in that movie that was saying
ever since WW2 we don’t know what we are really fighting for. The villain of the story, of course, is a psychotic warmonger. It is so amazing how blind the church is. They are on the same side as satanic bands such as SLAYER, who always promote war and violence through their lyrics. You need to really bring this out that most of the apostate church is on Satan’s side. I realize you probably know nothing about this, but I do. I use to be one of SLAYERS biggest fans. They are satanic neocons. This exposes lying warmongers for what they are. The fruits speak for themselves. There are sites promoting these bands as republican, even AC/DC’s “Highway To Hell.” Well that speaks for itself. The republican way is the highway to hell. There are only very few bands
that speak the truth like Megadeth. It is hard to tell but I don’t think McCain will stand much of a chance because whoever he picks for VP will end up isolating one group or other.

The American people were led to believe that America’s fine men and women in uniform were sent halfway around the world to Iraq and Afghanistan to fight a “war on terror.” Of course, everyone now knows that Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with the attacks on September 11, 2001. I am sure that most everyone also remembers that the vast majority of the terrorists who participated in those attacks were from Saudi Arabia, not Iraq. Yet, Saudi leaders continue to enjoy the coziest of relationships–and, dare I say, friendships–with President George W. Bush.

Does anyone besides me remember when Bush said that countries had to decide whether they would be friends with either terrorists or the United States, but that they could not be friends with both? Well, Saudi Arabia has probably financed, supported, and befriended more terrorists in the Middle East than any other nation in the world (except perhaps Red China), yet they continue to be “friends” with the United States.

Another glaring inconsistency regarding the “war on terror” is the fact that for some seven years since the 9/11 attacks, our nation’s borders and ports are as open and porous as ever. These open borders make the argument that “we are fighting them over there, so we won’t have to fight them over here” look absolutely disingenuous–even laughable.

If foreign terrorists want to bring the fight to America’s streets again, they still have plenty of opportunity to do so. In fact, we have no idea how many potential terrorists have already slipped across our borders and are right now living among us. Furthermore, we have no idea how many potential terrorists continue to pour through these wide open sieves that we call borders.

How can this administration look the American people in the eye with a straight face and claim that it is fighting a “war on terror,” while it does almost nothing to secure our borders and ports? As Marcellus said in Shakespeare’s Act 1 of Hamlet, “Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.” Amen. Something is also rotten in Washington, D.C.

Besides, why should al Qaeda attack us now? The U.S. occupation of Iraq is the best recruiting tool they ever had. Do the American people not realize (I think most of them actually do) that, thanks to our protracted occupation of Iraq, al Qaeda might actually be stronger now than it was when we invaded that country in 2003.

If the Bush administration was serious about fighting a war on terror, it would absolutely, resolutely, and immediately seal our borders and ports. It is nothing short of lunacy to send our National Guard forces to Iraq for the purpose of protecting that country’s borders, while leaving America’s borders wide open!

Not only does the Bush administration not secure our borders and ports, it wants to provide a “path to citizenship” for illegal aliens. It allows tax dollars to be used to pay for illegal aliens’ education, social services, and medical care. It offers birthright citizenship for illegal aliens. And it prosecutes and imprisons Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean for shooting (but not seriously enough to prevent his escape back into Mexico) a known illegal alien and drug trafficker.

No wonder the flood of illegal aliens has skyrocketed since George W. Bush became President of the United States.

And is there anyone who does not understand that a John McCain Presidency will be more of the McSame? A McCain White House promises a 100-year occupation of Iraq along with continued open borders and ports. Plus, McCain will also push forward with his plans to grant amnesty to illegal aliens.

In addition, when it comes to illegal immigration, amnesty, etc., there will be no relief from an Obama White House. Both Barack Obama and John McCain are pro-open borders, pro-amnesty twins.

Instead of fighting a “war on terror,” the Bush administration (and numerous administrations before it) is allowing our troops to be used as the personal militia of the United Nations and for the commercial benefit of international corporations.

Remember, soon after our troops invaded Iraq, President Bush explicitly reported that the reason for the invasion was to defend “the credibility of the United Nations.” But this has been the pattern of White House behavior ever since the U.N. was created back in 1945. Presidents from both parties have repeatedly injected U.S. troops into copious conflicts and wars, all for the purpose of enforcing and augmenting the policies of the United Nations.

In fact, the last constitutional conflict that the U.S. military fought was World War II. Virtually every war since has been a U.N. manufactured and manipulated conflict. The war in Iraq is no different.

I ask the reader, If you were President, and you sincerely believed that you were fighting a war on terror, and that you had to take the drastic action of sending other men’s sons and daughters to fight and die in order to wage this war (not to mention the prospect of potentially bankrupting the country to fight it), would you be so careless or indifferent as to not close the borders to the threat of terrorists who might actually decide to attack us? I doubt that there is a reader who would not agree that anyone who took such a task seriously would–at the very minimum–do this.

So, I repeat: the fact that George W. Bush refuses to seal our borders and ports proves that whatever else he thinks he is accomplishing in Iraq, he is disingenuous when he proclaims that he is fighting a “war on terror.” (Again, the country that had the closest connections to the 9/11 terrorists was Saudi Arabia, not Iraq. If fighting the terrorists was the focus, why did Bush not attack Saudi Arabia?)

And that means John McCain is disingenuous when he says he wants U.S. troops to stay in Iraq for 100 years so “we won’t have to fight the terrorists over here” while, at the same time, promoting amnesty for illegal aliens (which does nothing but promote even more illegal immigration).

No, my friends. The real war is not a “war on terror.” The real war is a war against constitutional government, personal liberty, and national sovereignty. It is a war against the fundamental principles of America’s Founding Fathers, that America should be a friend and trader with all, but engaged in entangling alliances with none. It is a war against the Bill of Rights. It is a war against the Spirit of ’76, the spirit that says America is a free and independent country, subservient to no international entity or interest. It is a war against the principle that would put America first. It is a war against the very heart and soul of everything this country has stood for ever since our patriot forebears stood on Lexington Green and Concord Bridge. And this war is not being waged from Baghdad or Tehran. It is being waged from Washington, D.C.

Christian Books That Expose George W. Bush For What He Is By Pastor Chuck Baldwin

Posted by soldierservant on May 3, 2008

This is interesting. In particular the ones exposing Bush and the oil crisis scam. Last night Alex jones was on COAST TO COAST and was great. He is a christian and he says most of the churches are a part of the new world order, both liberal and Bush pro-war churches. He also talked about Ted Turner and his crazy statement about everyone becoming cannibals in 30-40 years. Ted is one of these globalists. He exposed this global warming myth as a deception for population control. The whole purpose for the globalist agenda is annihilation. This is from both sides, democrat and republican. If America has any hope both parties must be done away with. To support any of these candidates is
like supporting Hitler and then asking God to save us from them. God will not honor such foolish prayers so people had better wake up. I think this is why the atrocities in the nazi holocaust were allowed by God because the people, the church itself, brought it on themselves. They supported Hitler up till the very last moment until he turned on them and then it was too late. Things are much worse now than then because this is on a global scale. Even though they will use the police in the emerging police state even they will be eventually killed to. Now this is not to say that all their plans will happen because their plans do not all line up to prophecy. But these vermin still need to be
exposed for what they are. Every one of these elitists and royal families are eternally damned. Those who follow them and their puppets are in danger of damnation themselves. History is repeating itself all over. Hitler was an envronmentalist. All of the politicians have  embraced this so we know they are of the same spirit as Hitler. Rockefeller was a supporter of Hitler and he also supports republicans.
The whole solar system is warming, not just earth. Alex said that it is what these elitists are doing that is endangering the planet. They are creating all kinds of viruses. When they try to kill us off it will be through plagues and viruses, but then that is when God can come through for us with divine protection, those of us who never supported these antichrists. I believe all the bushbots and neocons will suffer because they will reap what they sow. They have trusted in wicked man over God
so God will leave them to their own gods

There is an old adage that says, “Leaders are readers.” Another one says, “You are what you read.” Whatever the adage, there is no question that reading is an absolute necessity if freedom and liberty are to be maintained. It is very difficult to enslave a mind that has been quickened by the extensive reading of good books. Most great men are voracious readers.

While I certainly do not consider myself to be the quintessential reader, I have enjoyed a hunger and thirst for books, both sacred and secular. And since people often ask me what books I have read or am reading, I will use today’s column to provide a short list (in no particular order) of some of the books that I have either recently read (over the last year or so) or am in the process of reading.

My friend, Richard Viguerie, recently wrote an excellent book entitled Conservatives Betrayed. The subtitle explains the book’s contents. It reads, “How George W. Bush and Other Big Government Republicans Hijacked the Conservative Cause.” It is an excellent read. Every conservative Christian, especially, should read it.

I recently refreshed my mind with a book written a few years back by Dr. George Grant entitled The Importance of the Electoral College. In a day when many are trying to replace the constitutional system of an Electoral College with a popular vote, this book is must-reading.

John Eidsmoe wrote a book every Christian should read. It is entitled God and Caesar. Of course, anything written by Eidsmoe is worth reading.

John Stormer wrote an excellent essay regarding our runaway judiciary currently plaguing these United States. His book is entitled Betrayed by the Bench. The subtitle reads, “How Judge-made Law Has Transformed America’s Constitution, Courts and Culture.” On the same topic is the recently published book by Phyllis Schlafly entitled The Supremacists. These are great books.

Attorney Edwin Vieira, Jr. recently published a tremendous book explaining the meaning and purpose of “The Militia of the several States.” It is entitled Constitutional “Homeland Security” Volume 1: The Nation in Arms. And if you have a spare year or two to study and digest an exhaustive and capacious two-volume set of books regarding the Federal Reserve and related issues, get Vieira’s recent release, Pieces of Eight. The book’s subtitle is “The Monetary Powers And Disabilities Of The United States Constitution.” (No, I have neither read nor digested all of it, yet–but I’m working on it.)

Congressman Ron Paul has a compilation of terrific essays regarding a constitutional and commonsense foreign policy. It is called A Foreign Policy of Freedom. This should be required reading for every politician in Washington, D.C., for sure.

Dr. Jerome Corsi has written the consummate manual exposing the agenda of elitists to merge the United States into a North American Union in his blockbuster book, The Late Great U.S.A. If you don’t have this book, buy it!

David McCullough’s biography of our second President, John Adams, is also well worth reading. As most of you know, this book is the foundation for the current mini-series being broadcast on H.B.O. I haven’t seen any of these segments as yet, but I have been told the television re-creations are very true to the book.

A recent book by Alan Stang is another book I encourage everyone to read, especially my conservative Christian brethren, who are so enamored with George W. Bush. The book is entitled Not Holier Than Thou. It chronicles the influence of homosexualists within the Republican Party in general and the Bush administration in particular.

Another book I have recently reacquainted myself with is Lindsey Williams’ book, The Energy Non Crisis. This book exposes the fact that there is more than ample oil underneath U.S. soil to meet our energy demands for hundreds of years, and how the powers that be are withholding this information (not to mention the oil) from the American people. Buy the book!

R.J. Rummel authored a book that is sobering in both its truth and its relevance. It is entitled Death By Government, and traces the historical reality of how the vast majority of mass murders have been–and continue to be–committed by governments, not individuals. His facts are irrefutable. Thank God our Founding Fathers placed the right to keep and bear arms in our Constitution. It, more than any other constitutional protection, has kept America free all these years. Get the book.

Another book I recommend is called China Inc. The author is Ted Fishman. He shows the serious danger posed to our country by the unholy marriage that has taken place between international corporations and Red China. It is a well written and well researched book.

Last year, a friend gave me a copy of Ezra Taft Benson’s superb book, God, Family, Country. It is a great read.

Being somewhat of a Civil War buff, I always enjoy good books about the War for Southern Independence, especially those books that are not afraid to print the truth about the Southern cause. I recently purchased another book to add to my Civil War library entitled The War Between the States, by John Dwyer. Authors contributing to this book are George Grant, J. Steven Wilkins, Douglas Wilson, and Tom Spencer. It is very good.

The great German pastor, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, whose resistance to Adolf Hitler cost him his life, wrote a magnificent book entitled The Cost of Discipleship. In light of what is happening within the churches of America these days, this book is especially helpful. I recommend it heartily.

And for inspiration, read anything written by Jeanne Guyon. A Christian lady in France who was persecuted and imprisoned by French authorities for her courageous and controversial walk with Christ, Madame Guyon’s words will penetrate one’s heart and lift one’s soul to a closer walk with Christ as few others can do. I recently re-read her book, Union With God, which includes twenty-two of her poems. Her poems are absolutely phenomenal! I suppose her great suffering made her such an accomplished writer and poet. Suffering has a way of doing that. And her book, Experiencing the Depths of Jesus Christ, is one of her all-time best! This book was actually burned in France, but even Watchman Nee, John Wesley, and Hudson Taylor enthusiastically promoted this book. Will Durant, in his 11-volume Story of Civilization, recounts Jeanne Guyon’s impact on history. Feast your soul on Madame Guyon.

Of course, every American citizen needs to constantly read the U.S. Constitution and The Federalist Papers explaining the Constitution. I also recommend that everyone familiarize themselves with Frederic Bastiat’s short but brilliant treatise entitled The Law. And if you don’t read any other book this year (other than the Bible), be sure to read Hitler’s Cross by Erwin Lutzer. And if I may be slightly self-serving, my compilation of the great documents of American history is something every American should also have in their possession. That is what people such as Judge Roy Moore and Howard Phillips say, anyway. For information about my FREEDOM DOCUMENTS, go to

These are a few of the books–some older, some newer–that I have recently found helpful. And speaking of reading, thank you for reading my columns.

Apathetic Pastors And Christians Killing America By Pastor Chuck Baldwin

Posted by soldierservant on April 29, 2008

Chuck really nails it about the hypocritical church leadership. Those
quotes from Daniel Webster are very insightful. You know those quotes of
his are almost identical to what Osama Bin Laden said to hs own
followers that they don’t have to do much terrorizing because we will be
done in by our own leaders. Either he is very perceptive of our
situation or he has cut a deal with our leaders. I remember hearing some
that have said they had seen Bin Laden over here before 9/11, like in
Vegas. I think he is aligned with Bush and that is why nothing is ever
done about him. They are probably the best of buddies. Anyone has to be
a total fool and complete moron to still believe in this war when it has
been nothing but nonsense and gets worse all the time. Anyone that wants
to serve under a fool is a bigger fool than he.

This column is archived at

America’s most celebrated jurist, Daniel Webster (himself a dedicated Christian man), said, “God grants liberty only to those who love it, and are always ready to guard and defend it.” Obviously, Christian men down through our history have personally and collectively shown themselves more than willing to “guard and defend” our liberties. From Bunker Hill to the Alamo, Christian men stood tall in the defense of America’s freedom. So, it is more than a little disconcerting to realize that there is a sizeable percentage of today’s Christians who seem completely unwilling to “guard and defend” liberty in these United States of America.

Oh, I know that almost all of our pastors and church leaders will laud and honor a young Christian man’s decision to join our armed forces and go overseas to fight enemies abroad. But when it comes to opposing those within our own country who seek to dismantle constitutional government or the principles of liberty, their support for resistance turns to apathy and indifference. (The reason for this couldn’t be because they simply don’t want to do the hard work, could it? Please tell me it ain’t so!)

I have even had Christians tell me that we should not oppose any attempts to resist draconian developments within our country, because doing so would actually be resisting God. The reasoning goes something like this: “The Bible says things will get worse and worse. Therefore, all this ‘bad’ stuff happening is God’s will, and if we try to prevent it, we are fighting against God’s will.” I know it sounds incredible, but we might be shocked as to the number of professing Christians that actually subscribe to such nonsense.

Isn’t it interesting, however, that these same Christians did not believe we were fighting against God’s will when we sent hundreds of thousands of U.S. military forces (many of them Christians) to fight and destroy the evil regime of Saddam Hussein in Iraq? If things are supposed to get worse and worse and we would be opposing God’s will by resisting, why should we interfere in Iraq? Why should we send troops to Afghanistan, if we are not to resist evil?

And, of course, the bigger question is, If it is right to resist evil in a foreign country half way around the world, why is it not right to resist evil in our own country?

Furthermore, the same Christians that tell us we should not oppose any evil being perpetrated by those within our own government will scream about the importance of going to the polls in November and defeating the “evil” Democrats. But why? If Christians are not to resist evil, because the Bible says things will get worse and worse, why should we worry about who wins an election? In fact, it would seem that the best thing we could do would be to identify the absolute worst, most evil candidate we could find and vote for him (or her). After all, if God intends for things to get worse and worse, why don’t we help Him out by assisting the efforts of evil people?

I wonder if Christians actually think about what they are saying?

When Jesus said, “resist not evil,” (Matt. 5:39) did He mean that we should not oppose a would-be rapist or murderer? Did He mean we should not oppose those who would destroy our homes or country? I know a few honest pacifists. However, this is not the belief system of most Christians. Most Christians believe in lawful self-defense (including this writer).

The fact is, if it is right to oppose evil in Iraq (and I am among those who question the constitutional right and authority of the war in Iraq), it is right to oppose evil in America. If we Christians are willing to send our fellow believers to fight and die in opposition to tyranny half way around the world, it is right that we should be willing to fight and even die in opposition to tyranny right here at home. It is absolute lunacy for Christians to flippantly dismiss their moral, spiritual, and civil obligation to resist the tyrannical tendencies of corrupt political powers in these United States.

Christians are plainly commanded to resist the Evil One (James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:9). When Abraham’s nephew, Lot, was taken captive by an alien army, did Abraham say, “Things are going to get worse and worse and there is nothing we can do about it”? Or did he gather his own army and attack the invaders and deliver his nephew (see Genesis chapter 14)?

During the dark days of Israel’s captivities, did not God raise up deliverers to stand against the evildoers? When David saw Goliath, did he say, “Things are supposed to get worse and worse”? Or did he gather his sling and stones and march out to face the pagan?

The history of the early church in New Testament times is one continuous example of resistance to tyrannical authority. The apostles repeatedly refused to submit to the dictates and demands of both Jewish and Roman authorities. Every apostle, save John, was killed for resisting carnal authority.

Throughout church history, martyrdom was common. Some such as Huss and Tyndale died passively at the hands of various religious and political elements, while others such as Zwingli died on the battlefield resisting corrupt and tyrannical governments.

The fact is, for more than two thousand years of Church history–from John the Baptist to John Witherspoon–Christians have repeatedly and consistently resisted evil authorities. How dare pastors and Christians now say that we should not resist the evil, tyrannical tendencies of powerful politicos? How dare they suggest that it is “God’s will” that we allow evil to triumph in our land?

Worse still is the apathy and indifference that many Christians display toward the great freedoms and liberties into which they have been born as Americans. We enjoy these great liberties, because our forebears (many of them Christians) were willing to fight and die to bequeath them to us. We do not enjoy the rights and freedoms enumerated in the Constitution and Bill of Rights and announced in the Declaration of Independence by chance or luck. These freedoms were secured by the blood, sweat, and tears of brave Americans who chose to fight evil in our own country.

America has enjoyed the blessings of liberty, because, as Webster said, our fathers and grandfathers were willing to “guard and defend” it. Will this be the generation that refuses to “guard and defend” liberty? Will this be the generation that permits the evil machinations of powerful, but corrupt, authorities to steal liberty from our posterity?

There is another statement by Daniel Webster that today’s Christians need to take to heart: “There is no nation on earth powerful enough to accomplish our overthrow. Our destruction, should it come at all, will be from another quarter. From the inattention of the people to the concerns of their government, from their carelessness and negligence. I must confess that I do apprehend some danger. I fear that they may place too implicit a confidence in their public servants, and fail properly to scrutinize their conduct; that in this way they may be made the dupes of designing men, and become the instruments of their own undoing.”

Should Webster’s warning come true for America, it will be because our pastors and Christian leaders refused to “guard and defend” liberty in our own land. Should this happen, our tombstone will read, “Here lies the United States of America: killed by the apathy and indifference of its pastors and churches.”

Moneychangers Destroying America–And Christians Don’t See It by Pastor Chuck Baldwin

Posted by soldierservant on March 1, 2008

This is interesting. I just heard Jerry Corsi on COAST TO COAST last
night talking about ths north american army. Also like Chuck mentions
here that candidates from both parties are the same. So I don’t think
any is more evil than the other. They are equal. You have probably read
about McCain collaborating with the vietnamese communists and betrayed
the other p.o.w.s. In fact if anybody you can trust not to be the
antichrist woud be Hillary because the bible is clear that the
antichrist is a man, and a homosexual at that. Kind of makes you wonder
that it may be Bush. Remember that his time is not up and might put the
emergency powers into effect before his time is up. So it may not even
be worth worrying about any of the candidates. We may not have a country
left by the time Bush is through.

“And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and
the changers of money sitting: And when he had made a scourge of small
cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the
oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables.”
John 2:13-15 (KJV)

The moneychangers of Jesus’ day were the equivalent of the
international bankers of our day. With the consent and approbation of
the Jewish leaders, these bankers set up shop in the Temple. Their
purpose was to exchange whatever currency the Jewish worshipper
brought with him or her into Jewish currency, which would then be used
to purchase whatever sacrifice the worshipper required. Of course, the
exchange rates benefited only the bankers and Jewish leaders (and
Caesar, who collected a tax on the exchange, of course). For everyone
else, the system was nothing more than legalized extortion.

When Jesus saw what the bankers were doing, He was incensed. And
throughout the Gospel narratives, this is the only occasion where
Jesus is recorded as resorting to violence. He made a scourge (or
whip) and drove the bankers out of the Temple by force and destroyed
their tables, along with their records, receipts, etc.

It is too bad that today’s pastors and Christians do not share Jesus’
disdain for the current generation of moneychangers, because it is the
moneychangers who are in the process of destroying these United States
of America–and our pastors and Christians either do not see it, or,
if they do see it, do not seem to care.

It is modern moneychangers who bully and bribe our spineless and
greedy politicians (from both parties) into passing so-called “free
trade” deals such as NAFTA, CAFTA, and the FTAA, which have all but
destroyed America’s manufacturing base and have put millions of
American workers out of their jobs. It is the moneychangers who are
the driving force behind the burgeoning North American Union, which
sacrifices America’s national sovereignty and independence.

Over the weekend, Dr. Jerry Corsi reported that a new North American
Army has been created, without the approval of Congress or any mention
by the American media. In World Net Daily, Corsi reports, “In a
ceremony that received virtually no attention in the American media,
the United States and Canada signed a military agreement Feb. 14
allowing the armed forces from one nation to support the armed forces
of the other nation during a domestic civil emergency, even one that
does not involve a cross-border crisis.

“The agreement, defined as a Civil Assistance Plan, was not submitted
to Congress for approval, nor did Congress pass any law or treaty
specifically authorizing this military agreement to combine the
operations of the armed forces of the United States and Canada in the
event of a wide range of domestic civil disturbances ranging from
violent storms, to health epidemics, to civil riots or terrorist

“In Canada, the agreement paving the way for the militaries of the
U.S. and Canada to cross each other’s borders to fight domestic
emergencies was not announced either by the Harper government or the
Canadian military, prompting sharp protest.”

Corsi further writes, “The military Civil Assistance Plan can be seen
as a further incremental step being taken toward creating a North
American armed forces available to be deployed in domestic North
American emergency situations.

“The agreement was signed at U.S. Army North headquarters, Fort Sam
Houston, Texas, by U.S. Air Force Gen. Gene Renuart, commander of
NORAD and U.S. Northern Command, or USNORTHCOM, and by Canadian Air
Force Lt. Gen. Marc Dumais, commander of Canada Command.”

For the most part, the American media is blind, mute, and dumb
regarding any of the issues relating to the merger of the U.S.,
Canada, and Mexico. The only notable media personality to give this
matter any significant attention is CNN’s Lou Dobbs. Obviously, the
same moneychangers who control Congress also largely control the
mainstream media.

The last three American Presidents, too, have been willing pawns in
the hands of the moneychangers. Remember, it was Bill Clinton and
Senate Minority Leader Bob Dole who collaborated to shove NAFTA down
our throats. It was Bush 41 who first publicly promoted a “New World
Order.” But it has been George W. Bush who has done more to appease
the globalist plans of the moneychangers than any President since
Woodrow Wilson.

G.W. Bush has used the rubric of “the war on terrorism” to dismantle
not only the personal liberties of the American people (most notably
with his Gestapo-like Patriot Act), but also the constitutional
principles of national sovereignty and independence. For example, back
in 2006, G.W. Bush eviscerated one of America’s most sacred doctrines
protecting liberty and independence: the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878,
which disallowed U.S. military troops from being used against U.S.
citizens. (Of course, this did not stop Bill Clinton and Janet Reno
from using U.S. troops against U.S. citizens at Waco, Texas. And
thanks to G.W. Bush, the crime was permanently covered up.)

The expunging of Posse Comitatus becomes even more jeopardous when one
considers the current merger of U.S. and Canadian military forces. Dr.
Corsi explains:

“In an exclusive interview with WND during Vigilant Shield 2008, Gen.
Renuart affirmed USNORTHCOM would deploy U.S. troops on U.S. soil
should the president declare a domestic emergency in which the
Department of Defense ordered USNORTHCOM involvement.

“In May 2007, WND reported President Bush, on his own authority,
signed National Security Presidential Directive 51, also known as
Homeland Security Presidential Directive 20, authorizing the president
to declare a national emergency and take over all functions of
federal, state, local, territorial and tribal governments, without
necessarily obtaining the approval of Congress to do so.”

(See Jerry Corsi’s complete report at )

Are readers getting this? George W. Bush, on his own signature, with
no approval from Congress and no input from the American people, has
seized unlimited power for the Presidency; he has dismantled the
constitutional protections of the American people; he has ignored the
courts; he has begun creating the merger of the U.S., Canada, and
Mexico, including the merger of the U.S. and Canadian militaries; and
he has refused to enforce U.S. immigration laws, thus facilitating a
borderless North America. And all of this has been done at the behest
of David Rockefeller and his cabal of moneychangers at the Council on
Foreign Relations (CFR).

When Jesus saw the moneychangers in the Temple, He drove them off with
violence. Yet, today’s pastors and Christians cannot even seem to see
what these same moneychangers are doing to America. They support
candidates simply because they have an “R” behind their names, vainly
imagining that these candidates are somehow better than the ones with
a “D” behind their names. The truth is, however, John McCain and Mike
Huckabee are as beholden to the moneychangers as are Hillary Clinton
and Barack Obama. Why can’t Christians see this? Why are they so

The one man who made it through the Republican Presidential primaries
who was not only not beholden to the moneychangers, but who was
vehemently opposed to them, was Congressman Ron Paul. But most pastors
and leaders of the Religious Right, not seeing or understanding the
evil being done by the moneychangers, not only did not support Ron
Paul, but they actively supported (and continue to support) the
moneychangers’ puppet candidates.

I’m sure if Jesus had taken time to sit down and dialogue with those
First Century moneychangers, they could have come up with very nice,
flowery speeches as to how they were doing the Jewish people a
service; how they were patriotic Romans and/or pious Hebrews. But
Jesus did not need to dialogue with them: He knew what they were. And
He knew what He needed to do; and He did it.

What Jesus did is exactly what every pastor, Christian, conservative,
and every other real American should do: rise up against these
moneychangers and drive them out of power! But we cannot accomplish
this until we see them for what they really are: power-mad
extortionists who seek to enrich themselves at the expense of
America’s freedom and independence. Do you think our fellow pastors
and Christians will ever see it?

John McCain Is A Liberal Gun Grabber by Pastor Chuck Baldwin

Posted by soldierservant on February 22, 2008

Most conservative Christians probably disagree with Chuck on this since he thinks McCain is the worse threat, not Obama. According to him McCain is as bad as Giulani.
My view is that they are all bad. No matter who we get they are all the
same and pushing the same agenda, which is pro-muslim, pro-illegal,
pro-war, pro-abortion, high taxes, anti-gun, and anti-christian. But I
see his point that if a liberal gets it the neocons will fight them. But
among Obama supporters I seen signs that said republicans for Obama, so
I wouldn’t be too sure of that. If Bush is such a christian then why do
we still have ungodly public education and even that is going downhill?
Also why is islam spreading more because of this war if Bush is a
christian? Wouldn’t it be the other way around? If he was called by God
to do this war wouldn’t there be more christians as a result, and not
less? All his evil fruits speak for himself. Bush is not even a
worthless servant because he never belonged to Christ to begin with,
which I am thinking many of his supporters are the same, especially the
religious wolves in sheep’s clothing. Just this morning I got a message
from McCain on my answering machine saying he was a Reagan conservative.
It was all lies. I could even hear it in his voice that he didn’t
believe what he was saying. Not a very good con. I don’t think there is
much need to worry about him because he seems unelectable to me. I guess
it depends and how many fools there are that swallow Hannity’s BS. But
then we know we are living in America where anything ridiculous can
happen, like the unpopular vote winning the election. Doesn’t that make
you proud of this country where we become a mockery of ourselves? Pride
of fools, how pathetic. Many compare the present state of this nation to
the decadence of Rome before it fell. Pride comes before the fall. All
this americanism is proof of our nation in pride and most certainly will
fall because of it. All the prideful fools don’t realize how we are
losing our nation. All of these politicians that fools worship are
turning this nation into another third world country. It is all these
globalists like Bush and all the rest that fools look up to are selling
out our sovereignty and everything else underneath us. That is nothing
to be prideful about. Life is not treasured in this nation and has
become so cheap that a lot are committing these murder suicides we hear
in the news. They will go to their reward. All the abortion and
warmongering has brought a death culture and this death curse upon this
nation and it will not get any better unless this nation repents. Also
those who do not learn from the past are condemned to repeat it. There
are so many parallels to the past whether it is Rome or Nazi, Germany.
Even ancient Israel’s downfall for forsaking God where they listened to
false prophets while persecuting the true prophets, much like today. God
does not bless evil and so this country is not blessed by God. All these
fools call abortion, recession, outsourcing, rampant crime,
homelessness, and war a blessing? Jesus said woe to those who call evil
good. It is no wonder that those who love this world will not enter
God’s kingdom and that there will be a day of reckoning. The bible says
that Satan is the god of this world, so those who love it love Satan
more than God. Those who get away with evil are storing up for the day
of wrath. Enjoy while you can because all this nonsense will pass away
and those who are not true to Christ will be forgotten throughout all
eternity. All those who hate God need not worry because where they are
going He will not be there.

The last thing we need is another liberal neocon in the White House.
If the Presidency of George W. Bush proved anything, it proved the
hazard of electing phony Republican conservatives. At least one is
able to clearly see a liberal for what he or she is when they have a
“D” behind their name. But put an “R” behind the name and suddenly
their liberal, Big-Government, anti-freedom agenda is barely
recognized, which makes a liberal Republican much more dangerous than
a liberal Democrat.

Let me say it straight out: a John McCain Presidency would be far
worse than a Barack Obama Presidency. With a Democrat in the White
House, conservatives and Christians suddenly find their principles and
are able to offer resistance. Put a Republican in the Oval Office,
however, and those same people become blind, deaf, and dumb to most
any principle they profess.

Nowhere is McCain’s chicanery and duplicity more jeopardous than in
the area of the right to keep and bear arms. On issues relating to the
Second Amendment, John McCain is a disaster! For example, the highly
respected Gun Owners of America (GOA) rates McCain with a grade of F-.
McCain’s failing grade is well deserved.

John McCain sponsored an amendment to S. 1805 on March 2, 2004 that
would outlaw the private sale of firearms at gun shows. According to
GOA, the provision would effectively eliminate gun shows, because
every member of an organization sponsoring a gun show could be
imprisoned if the organization fails to notify each and every “person
who attends the special firearms event of the requirements [under the
Brady Law].”

John McCain also sponsored an Incumbent Protection provision to the
so-called “Campaign Finance Reform” bill, which severely curtails the
ability of outside groups (such as GOA) to communicate the actions of
incumbent politicians to members and supporters prior to an election.

The GOA report of the 106th Congress reveals that out of 15 votes
relating to the right to keep and bear arms, Senator John McCain voted
favorably only 4 times. Put that into a percentage and McCain’s
pro-Second Amendment voting record is a pathetic 27%.

In addition, GOA warns that John McCain supported legislation that
would force federal agents to increase efforts in arresting and
convicting honest gun owners who may inadvertently violate one of the
many federal anti-gun laws, which punish mere technicalities, such as
gun possession.

For example, if John McCain’s proposed legislation were to become law,
a gun owner who travels with a gun through a school zone or who uses
one of the family handguns to go target shooting with a 15-year old
could be sent to prison. And a person who uses a gun for self-defense
could be sent to prison for a mandatory minimum of five years.

But there is so much more to the McCain madness.

Former California State Senator H.L. “Bill” Richardson wrote this
about John McCain, “He’s [McCain’s] proven his dislike for
conservatives and would gut us at every opportunity.

“Why do I say that? Because of three decades of experience as a
Republican California Senator and a fifty year activist in the
conservative movement. I have first hand, in-their-face experience
with elitist RINO’s (Republican in Name Only) office holders. They are
biblically ignorant, power hungry, status seeking egotists who have no
difficulty aiding their liberal Democrat colleagues whenever their
arms are politely twisted. The one thing they have in common with
liberal Democrats is their dislike for all conservatives, especially
those who are Bible-believing. McCain, as president, would stifle the
voices of elected Republican leaders and try to legislate the
conservative movement out of existence.”

Senator Richardson went on to say that he would in no way vote for
John McCain, if indeed McCain is the Republican nominee (which he
obviously will be).

I wonder how many gun owners and other professing pro-freedom
Americans have already fallen victim to McCain’s phony conservative
campaign? Do they not realize that they are giving a rope to the
hangman? And that they–conservatives and gun owners–are the ones who
McCain will send to the gallows? What is wrong with the American
people these days? Have they not been betrayed enough by these phony
conservative Republicans?

For example, President George W. Bush recently nominated Michael
Sullivan to be Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms,
and Explosives. Sullivan is one of the nation’s most rabid
anti-gunners. GOA’s Larry Pratt describes Sullivan as being “as
anti-gun as Ted Kennedy.” Honest gun owners, lawful firearms dealers,
and law-abiding gun show operators could have no worse enemy within
the federal government than Michael Sullivan. We could expect no worse
from Hillary Clinton. And a John McCain Presidency would doubtless
give us more of the same.

Regarding the Second Amendment, the American people have no better
friend than Ron Paul. He has a 20-year proven track record of fidelity
to the right to keep and bear arms. The GOA rates Congressman Paul
with a grade of A+. According to GOA Executive Director Larry Pratt,
Ron Paul has been a leader in the fight to defend and restore the
Second Amendment. He has sponsored legislation to repeal the
following: the Brady law; the requirement to lock up your guns; the
law permitting the U.S. to be part of the U.N (which, among other
attacks on American freedoms, seeks to ban privately transferred
firearms); participation in UNESCO; federal prohibitions on any pilot
wishing to carry a handgun to and in his cockpit; and the so-called
“assault weapons” ban (prior to its sunsetting in 2004).

Ron Paul has also sponsored legislation requiring states to treat the
concealed carry permit of one state the same as they do that state’s
driver’s license. Dr. Paul also opposes a national ID card, which
would be a tool of government to identify gun ownership.

Gun owners (along with conservatives and Christians of all sorts)
should be ashamed of themselves for allowing an angry, gun-grabbing
liberal such as John McCain to become the presumptive Republican
Presidential nominee, while rejecting the candidacy of one of
America’s most principled pro-life, pro-Second Amendment,
pro-Constitution, and pro-freedom legislators of this generation:
Congressman Ron Paul.

I say again, the last thing we need is another liberal neocon in the
White House. John McCain may have an “R” behind his name, but he is
just another establishment liberal: one America cannot afford.
