FALSE PREACHER JACK IMPE WOULD NOT RESPOND TO MY CHALLENGE!

Posted by soldierservant on May 30, 2008

I wrote this to Jack Van Impe a month ago to which I never got a
reply. I guess he could not refute all the scriptures I brought up that
he either avoids or twists for his own purpose. I thought you might find
this interesting by seeing how what he says differs from the bible. This
proves that his teachings are not mere trivial differences, but outright
contradiction of scripture.

I know you teach that there is no end of the world as well as a
pretribulation rapture, both of which are not found in scripture. 2
Peter 3:10-13, “But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The
heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by
fire, and the earth in everything it it will be laid bare. Since
everything will be destroyed this way, what kind of people ought you to
be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the
day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the
destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the
heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new
heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.” Peter addressed this
to all the saints, not a post rapture remnant. Also you notice those
passages talk about certain destruction and that there will be a “new
heaven” and “new earth.” There would not need to be a new earth if this
one is not destroyed. Paul also confirms what Peter has said about the
day of the Lord in 1Thess.5:2,4. Nowhere is there mentioned that the
saints are to be aware of a mysterious rapture of the righteous but
totally the opposite. In Matt.24;9, Jesus promises that after the
beginning of birth pains that we would be handed over to be put to
death. In verse 10 says that many will turn from the faith, which is the
same rebellion or great apostasy mentioned in 2 Thess.2:3. If anything
it is the wicked servants that will be called to judgment first when the
tares and the chaff are first separated as indicated in verses 50-51 of
Matt.24. Then there is Revelation 20:4, “I saw thrones on which were
seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls
of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and
because of the word of God. They had not worshipped the beast or his
image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands.
They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” This is
very clear that only the beheaded will reign with Christ. If these were
just ¬†post rapture survivors then why would God reward those who weren’t
diligent over those who were? This pretrib rapture theory did not exist
before the 1800s. 1 Cor.4:6 admonishes “Do not go beyond what is
written.” It is a very dangerous place to be when we start adding to
God’s word or deliberately contradict it. I know you also teach that
after the thousand year reign of Christ that he will be recommissioned.
There is no such place in scripture. Only the opposite is stated as in
1Cor.15:24-28, “Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom
of heaven to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion,
authority and power. For he must reign until he has put all his enemies
under his feet. The last enemy to be detroyed is death. For he “has put
everything under his feet.” Now when it says “everything” has been put
under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put
everything under Christ. When he has done this, then the Son himself
will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God
may be all in all.” Gal.1:8-9 says that if anyone who is preaching
another gospel is eternally condemned! Even back then there were many
false images of Christ. Any version of him that does not adhere to
scripture is not of God. Rev.22:15 also says that those who love and
practice falsehoods are damned to the lake of fire. Falsehoods would
definitely include believing stuff not taught in the bible (another
gospel). The danger of the pretrib rapture theory is that it causes many
to be complacent, thinking they will escape tribulation and when
persecution comes they will be unprepared and deny Christ because of
fear of man, which brings a trap. Gal.1:10, “Am I now trying to win the
approval of men, or of God? Or am I trying to please men? If I were
still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.” So what
is popular is not necessarily right but actually quite the opposite.
Jesus talked about the broad path that leads to destruction in
Matt.7:13. All this departure from scripture being taught by many, such
as the one world religion of ecumenism (the broad path), is proof that
we are now living in the age of the great apostasy. I also know about
the verichip (mark of the beast). Who do you think will be able to
refuse that mark? Those who are prepared or those who think they will
escape by rapture, which is nothing but a lie of escapism? Just keeping
up with the news everyone knows we are living in the endtimes. Those who
are not willing to take up their cross or lay down their lives for the
gospel is not worthy of Christ.
